A rather interesting premise and start. My three guesses as to the ghost are Ron Weasley, Severus Snape, or Draco Malfoy; they aren't the only possibilities, but at a first reading they seem the most likely possibilities.200 Years Later

Harry. She offered to let him 'live' wuth him if he died. He also had to die to get rid of the horcrux and the final battle would be an obvious time for that.200 Years Later

While Myrtle liked Harry, she seemed to prefer Draco in HBP, so I'll go Draco, with a second guess for Snape. Either would be pretty temperamental!200 Years Later

I have to go with tom/ v and what not. It would be a good twist, can you say poetic justice and he was tarified of death why not be a ghost.200 Years Later

For guys, only Harry, Draco and Riddle have any strong connection to Myrtle. Out of those three, Draco has the strongest and Riddle the weakest possibility for being the ghost. Unless you have Voldemort stuck as a ghost due to where he made his first horocrux and is stuck near there. It would help explain his anger.200 Years Later

To say the least, this is one of the most original introductory chapters I've ever read here. The mere idea of someone actually trying to have a conversation with Binns already deserves a big kudos.
Now, as for your question, I dunno how closely you want to stick with canon. If you decide to do so, I would go with Riddle; he had the greatest potential to turn into a ghost, what with his horribly distorted soul et al. However, if you want to venture into AU, you have more possibilities.
Harry IS on my list of candidates; he's known to have temper issues. However, I'd simply LOVE to see Ginny Weasley as a ghost; with the anger management courses she never attended, she would be the PERFECT one to scare the willies out of Davies on more than one occasion.
Luna has all potential to be a ghost but she doesn't fit the "temper" issue.
Either way you choose, this story goes into my favourites.200 Years Later

I think the best twist would be to have the ghost to be Fred and he's angry because he died without his brother.200 Years Later

Well since I believe you stated that the ghost died at Hogwarts in the Battle itself I would not pick Harry. Maybe Fred but since he isnt tempermental I'd go with Snape or Voldermort
