i sat up gasping grabbing onto my throat, panicking looking around the room.

"WHERE'S FRANKIE" i yelled as i felt someone trying to grab me "NO! STOP IT GET AWAY FROM ME" i pushed him trying to hit him.

"elly its me stop it, what are you doing"
"NO BERT STOP PLEASE STOP IT PLEASE BURT PLEASE" I screamed as i felt someone pin my shoulders down shaking me and i looked up and saw trace.

"oh my god it felt so real" i cried collapsing into his arms.
"what did you dream elly" he asked as he rubbed my back soothingly "burt killed frankie, he took him away from me, he took my love" i cried into his chest.


TRACE'S POV

i stayed next to elly until she fell asleep. i cuddled more into her and i closed my eyes falling asleep to. i stirred a little when i heard her wimpering and i looked down at her and her facical expressions where nothing but fear. i sat up trying to waked her up but she shook her head. i was about to say her name when she suddenly sat up gasping as she grabbed onto her throat panicking.

"WHERE'S FRANKIE" she yelled looking around the room still grabbing onto her neck and she tried to get up not paying attention to the fact that was falling. i reached out quickly grabbing onto her and she turned hitting me hard to.

"elly its me stop it what are you doing" i said as i blocked her hits.

"NO BERT STOP PLEASE STOP IT PLEASE BURT PLEASE" she screamed still swinging at me so i grabbed her shoulders and pinned her down shaking her. she suddenly stopped squirming and she opened her eyes looking at me.

"oh my god it felt so real" she said falling into my arms crying.
"what did you dream elly" i asked as i rubbed her back trying to soother her cries and calm her down.

"bert killed frankie, he took him away from me he took my love" she murmured crying into my chest in that very instant i felt this anger rise in me when she said frank's name. how was i suppose to get her to feel the love we built together again after frank had stepped into our lives again.

"it was just a dream babe" i said trying to keep the anger out of my tone.

"it felt so real trace, what would i do without him" she whispered
"i dont know elly,but what would i do without you" she slowly looked up at me and i reached down wiping her tears away with my thumb.

"im here arn't i, you arn't without me" she said as she let go of me and she went downstairs. i sighed laying back down and just waited for her to come back upstairs but she never did. so i got and walked downstairs looking all over the apt for her, but i couldnt find her, i walked out to the balcony and i stopped when i heard her voice. i walked to the rail and i stopped when i saw her sitting on the grass next to frank. "fuck" i muttered as i saw her cuddle into his arms as they talked. when i saw him kiss her i lost it, i went back inside and i grabbed my car keys and took off.

ELLY'S POV

i couldnt understand why i couldnt control what i was feeling or dreaming, burt ruled my whole world now and i didnt feel safe at home i hated the way i felt. i could feel my whole body shaking and as i sat outside dialing frankie's number.

"frankie could you come over here please"
"ya love ill be there in a minute are you okay"
"no im outside out back okay"
"okay love" i hung up my phone and i looked up as i felt a few sprinkles of rain water fall. the sky was dark but it was just sprinking. i took a deep breath and just leaned back feeling the light drops fall on forehead as i felt the chill of the cold air hit my body. i felt like i had been out here a while and i turned when i heard his voice.

"love whats wrong what happened" frankie said out of breath as he ran up to me.

"i dreamnt bert killed you" i whispered looking up at him as i shook. he kneeled in front of me taking off his zip up hoodie slippin it on my shoulders softly.

"its cold out here frankie you keep it"
"no come on put it on okay" i nodded slipping my arms in the sleeves as and he zipped it up pulling the hoodie over my head.

"your having nightmares" i nodded slowly "its like hes everywhere, i cant outrun him, just like i couldnt outrun him that day"

"well im here he didnt hurt me love" he whispered looking into my eyes. "no he didnt" he smiled sitting behind me and i scooted back cuddling into chest.

"i want you feel safe, and sleep love" he said wrapping his arms around me. "let me take care of you, trace will never know how to make you feel like i do"

"no one will ever make me feel like you did, but frankie i need a new start, how can i go back and try to live when you hurt me to"
i looked up at him and he had a very hurt look in his eyes.

"i fucked up i know, but i need you and you need me, love why do you do keep calling me and letting me be close to you at the hospital if you dont love me anymore" he whispered putting his forehead against mine.

"i do love you but im engaged now and i know trace is gonna give me a new start, and thats what you need to do is find someone who can give you yours"

"i dont want anyone else love i want you and im not gonna stop until your with me" he said pressing his lips against mine. "hmm frankie stop" i pushed him back and got up taking off the hoodie. "just go please and understand that i called you cause you were my friend before all of this before there was a you and me and i needed to talk but i cant hurt trace like you hurt me, he doesnt deserve to have me cheat on him like you cheated on me im sorry but i cant" i tossed his hoodie down at him and i ran back upstairs to the apt.

"trace" i yelled walking around the apt but i couldnt find him. i looked out the front window and his car was gone. i stayed in the living room until he came home.
