Back at the mansion things go horribly wrong... And a little reunion reveals more than Aubrey could have hoped for.
0Unrated
Ever since the fighters had brought Pete and his groups to the mansion, Justin had been tense, noticing that something was most definitely wrong. Tom should have been home by now since he had returned to the mansion before Justin had led the fighters the rest of the way to the awaiting prisoners. Every attempt he made to contact Tom had turned up nothing, so he had even tried to reach his Master's lover; he got the same result.
After sending out Lance, who was Tom's best tracker, Justin was now waiting his return. He gave a heavy sigh as he paced the corridor that was closest to the main door.
"Still nothing?" Samoyed questioned as he came around the corner, having been looking for Justin.
"Not a word," Justin replied as he came to a stop near the other vampire. "Has your man found anything?" He questioned of the guard that Samoyed had send out at the same time as Lance.
Shaking his head, Samoyed leaned against the wall he was the closest to. "Does it alarm you that Beckett is one of those missing?" He questioned, his head tilting to the side as he watched Justin's face to gauge his reaction.
Justin's lips pulled into a slightly troubled frown as he returned the stare. "After the bridge between the two had been mended, I wouldn't think that William would betray Tom," he answered. "What's your opinion?"
Samoyed gave a short chuckle as his lips pulled into a smirk. "My opinion is that you should get ready for a way on your home."
"Justin!" Exclaimed a voice as the main door was swung open with enough force to small it back into the wall.
Justin stared at Samoyed for a moment, panic creeping into his body at the look in the vampire's eyes, before he left the long corridor. As he made his way to the main room, the smell of blood attacked his senses, and as soon as he came around the corner, he frowned deeply at the sight he had come across.
Lance and Arturro, the guard that belonged to Aubrey, were in the process of laying two bodies on the floor as William Beckett strode in behind them. Behind him were two vampires that Justin recognized as errand boys Tom called to the house every now and then to dig around and find information. Judging by the attire they now wore, it was safe for Justin to say that they were now working for William. The satisfied smile on William's lips also helped to explain what had happened to Tom and Andrew as Justin looked from William to the two bodies with shocked eyes.
"For those of you who don't have an open link with Master William," spoke the shorter of the two newly-acquired Dandies, "allow me to fill you in. Master William has murdered both Tom Conrad and his little...pet," he sneered, "and, he is taking control of this mansion. Oh, and the vampires who reside here as well. Any objections will be met with death."

"What do you mean it was some of Aubrey's guards that brought you here!?" Sabine exclaimed as he stared across the hall, into the cell where his little brother, as well as several others were currently being held captive. "Why would-...I don't get it!"
"But it's the truth!" Deacon replied, staring back at his brother. "I thought you and Aubrey were on our side, and the next thing I know, it's his guards that are turning their weapons, and some that we let them use, on us!"
Sabine frowned. "Deac, bro, I've been a prisoner here for almost a month," he explained. "I don't know what's been going on because I can't even get a link with Aubrey."
"It's really beginning to look like your Master sold us out," Pete growled from his spot next to Deacon. His numbness had worn off when he saw Sabine was across the hall in a cell of his own. "How can you not make a link with him?"
Sabine gave a sad, slow shake of his head. "I can't figure it out at all Pete," he replied. "I thought maybe it was him keeping me out for some reason or another, but then I remembered that during my time being Beckett's prisoner I couldn't reach him then." He frowned when he realized that the group was short a couple of people. "Why aren't Andy and Brendon here?" He questioned, looking at his brother.
A heavy silence fell in the cells as Ryan glared daggers at the younger male. "They're not here, because they're dead," he spoke slowly. "They were murdered by your mate's guards while trying to stay alive after we were all taken prisoner." Next to him, Holly put her hand on his shoulder, trying to get him to calm down, even in the slightest bit.
"I don't get why Aubrey's guards would kill Andy and Brendon," Sabine said as he ran his fingers through his hair. "Those two were the good guys..."
"Good or not, they killed my friends," Patrick snapped, his usually friendly demeanor gone. "My friends are dead because your mate, or someone close to him, is fucking with us."
Sabine frowned as he looked at the hurt and the anger in Patrick's eyes. "We need to get out of here," he stated, even though it wasn't news to anyone in the cells.
Joe left his spot near the back of the cell, to move to Deacon's side at the bars that made up the walls of the cell, and the door as well. "Can't we just try to destroy the bars?" He questioned as he reached for them. "They look like they're weak enough."
"Don't touch them!" Sabine yelled, too late as Joe's hands wrapped around the bars and he prepared to try to pull them apart. He watched with an understanding of the pain Joe was now going through as the other male cried out in pain and cradled his hands against his chest. "They are weak..."
Deacon went to Joe and gently took his hands, frowning at the bits of flesh that were already partially burned away. "What the fuck is going on Sabine?" He questioned as he looked over his shoulder at his brother.
"The bars are made for holding us in," he answered, sounding deflated. "They're solidified mercury, with a fine coating of liquid mercury that they'll reapply when this current coat starts to dry." He held up his scarred hand. "I already tried once before..."
Joe stared at his hands and sighed as the pain began to fade away as he made himself focus on healing the damage that could be healed. "I shouldn't have done that," he muttered as Deacon lightly traced the webbed scars that now marred the flesh of Joe's palms.
"You didn't know," Deacon said softly as he let go of his lover's hands. "We do have to get out of here somehow."
"The only way you're getting out of here is when you're dead."
All eyes turned to the now open basement door, where William stood with two Dandies that no one had seen before; not even Deacon. Feral growls erupted from the vampires in the large cell as they realized who had entered. Every strong vampire, that had a weaker lover, moved to stand in front of them, ready to protect if anything were to happen. The shorter of the two Dandies skipped to the cell that held Deacon and smiled at him.
"I'm going to have the pleasure of killing you," he beamed, ignoring Joe for the time being. "He would love to tell you this himself, but you seem to have blocked him from your mind."
"I have him blocked because William no longer has a place there," Deacon replied with a sneer that made the wide smile fade from the Dandy's face. "And he doesn't deserve a spot either."
"You don't deserve to speak so formally of Master William," the smaller male growled. "Don't made the mistake again." The wide smile returned, leaving no trace of the previous anger, as he let his eyes roam to Joe, who was glaring at William as if daring him to try anything against his lover. "Oh, Master, he is gorgeous!" He exclaimed, catching Joe's attention. "I see why you want him." He gave Joe another once over before he met his blue-green eyes. "Hel-lo Joe," he smiled. "My name is Frank."
"I don't give a shit," Joe spat out before he looked at William. "You're deluding yourself if you thank you'll ever have me as yours."
William smirked and gave an amused roll of his eyes before he shifted them to Pete, who was tensed as he stared at him with angered eyes. "To this day you have yet to block me," he mused as a grin replaced his smirk. "I wonder why that is?"
"Go to Hell William," Pete replied. "Shouldn't you be dead? That scar I left on you is a nice little reminder my teeth tasted your throat once." His eyes darkened as he licked his lips and gave a malicious smile that bared his fangs.
William bared his fangs as he glared at the disobedient Pete; if his vocal chords weren't damaged a growl would have escaped him. "I know that I'm lucky to live," he replied. "But, and I promise you this, I will feel entirely justified as I carry out your punishment."
"Hey... Why do you smell like Pete?"
William looked at Sabine, who was studying him with a confused and curious look in his eyes. Looking to Frank, William got his attention before he looked to Sabine and back to him.
Frank faced William after making sure he was a few feet away from the cell that he now had his back to, even though he knew of the dangerous bars. "Master William would like me to inform you that he doesn't smell like Pete, but a member of his family," he said as he looked to William, who gave an approving nod. Frank then turned his attention to Pete, who had made a noise of surprise at the words.
Pete took a dew discreet sniffs of the air and frowned. "Why do you smell like Andrew!?" He demanded. He had to remember the danger of touching the bars to keep from trying to rip through them to get to William. "What have you done to my brother!?"
"He killed them," Frank answered simply, a smirk tugging at his lips, "just as he did with your mother and father."
[Author's Note: Yes, for those of you who are wondering, that is Mister Frank Iero =) He's a sexy vampire in my head so I made him one in my story. But anywho, so much for Aubrey hoping that Sabine would never find out about his brother being a part of the plan. Would he really make his lover forget the brother he adores so much? I hated to hurt Joe, but he does seem like the type to try and get out of problem without thinking it through at first, so he had to be my guinea pig lol. That's the end of update three out of six!]
