when i first met you
i thought you were really nice
i think i really loved you too
even though you had a little spice
the day we went to beeswax
is the day i met you
i was going to just relax
but when i saw you
i didn't know what to do
all i could do was stare
as you did the same
i knew true love was there
i actually had no shame
i was going out with stephen
i wanted to be with you
and i figured it out
when i was leaving
please know what i say is true
but now it is too late
as you can see
you've already walked through heaven's gates
now i'll just have to be who
god wants me to be.
