Sorry I left diary, dad made me pack my bags for the UK leg of the tour. Where was I? Oh, right, dad crying. Well a few months after SI came out, Duff and Matt left the band, and dad put the whole thing on hiatus.
Most people make up crazy stories about what my dad did during his time away. That he went insane, or lost his hair, or became a recluse. The truth is, he was being a father. He was going to PTA meetings, and sewing sequins onto my tutus for dance recitals, and teaching me how to grow up in a harsh world. He hadn’t lost his mind, or his hair. He had just gained a heart.
