  I believe the story with Rita and the bug-zapper was a Harmonious one, Bobmin's "The Power of the Press" where dear Rita gets too close to one at the Granger residence and ends up quite incapacitated as a result.
  
  Yeah, that was an interesting story by Clell and quite amusing, especially with the changes, not necessarily connected with the technologies shown, that Harry went through. 'Twas especially amusing to see Ginny talk herself out of Harry's affections.

  Power of The Press is one story where the Zappers made an appearance, but not the one I'm talking about, but neither, nor there.
  
  Yeah, All of Clell's stories are terrific. If I'm not mistaken, Ginny was so appalled at the idea of 'doing that' and Hermione was saying 'Let's do it! Let's do it again!"

  I think it's because I did a little modification of chapter 4.
  
  I didn't know that would send out a notice, but it does fit all the limited facts.

  Well, the stupid website on the main list, is saying you updated your story on the 28th, but there's no new chapter. This website really is bullshit most of the time, seeing as the admin is hardly doing anything with it, and had done virtually nothing with it for the last 2 years. But anyway...
  
  Great chapter as usual. I can't wait to read the rest of the story.

  That's actually my fault, Richard. U made a slight modification to chapter four and the site, which is automated, took that as a new chapter. Sorry. the next chapter should be up in a few days.

  Even though got the notice that there was a new chapter #28, all I see is 27 chapters.
  
  Reloaded the page 20 times and still it reads 27 chapters.

  This had been sitting on my 'To Read' list for quite a while now, and I got around to it starting yesterday afternoon - 7 hours of reading later, including until 11:30 PM and back up at 5 AM to finish before work.
  Wonderful read, while your villains are outrageous, they are not unlike their canon counterparts, just a tiny bit less discrete thanks to Harry's foreknowledge and provocations.
  
  thanks for sharing a truly excellent story.
  As an aside, my family moved from Socorro NM to Utah in 67, or we might have been neighbors, and I met several Marines on duty in Beirut when they got R&R in Nimes France in the early 80s - If you were there it is truly a small world.

  I'm flattered. You took the same amount of time to read this that I wasted on DH. Still, don't lose your job. The story will still be here.
  
  I had to find a careful middle between the comic-book characters Rowling created and the truly horrific villains some FF writers come up with. I wanted Voldy&Co. to be evil, but I didn't want any of my readers to get sick over what they did. Did that make sense?

  Yo! Alorkin, I hope you're reading this as it should make you smile at the very least! My mother use to have a half Dobby that could pick raspberries and blackberries off the vines without getting hurt by the thorns. Now if you're thinking she was well trained, you'd be wrong. Believe it or, she learned it herself. But I know exactly what you say about those type of bushes being true! Just try moving them around like rose bushes and enjoy the pain. As for myself, I'll pass thank you very much! This story is fantastic! It shows Dumblydork in his true light. In the fics where he's all nice and helpful, that's the real fiction at work! Look to cannon to see how he truly is.
