My letter of acceptance to Hogwarts arrived yesterday, along with a supply list. Mother s already worried, despite Father's assurance that a wand and a cauldron will be easy to obtain. Mother is a muggle, meaning she has no magical ability, and she is worried about the safety of the school. Father says there is no place safer than Hogwarts. I hope he is correct...
When I was out in the yard today, I saw the new girl that just moved in next door. She is insanely beautiful, and seems very kind. She was out with her long-never sister, checking the mailbox. Guess what I saw her pull out? A Hogwarts acceptance letter! She is a witch as well! Imagine my luck!
