Alex's Pov
I just stared at the phone for what seem like hours, this was it. Jack could either be alive or dead, part of me was afraid to grab the phone I wasn’t ready to know. The other part of me wanted to just grab the phone just so I could know, to know my love was still alive. Finally, I snap out of it and got the phone from Ryan, my heart was beating fast.
“Hello, “I said into the phone.
“Hello Alex, I’m calling about Jack, I wanted to let you know his awake. I can’t believe it myself, but like I said before there is no telling if he will make it or how long he will live, “The doctor said.
My heart stop I couldn’t believe he was alive; no words could describe how I felt at that moment. I was beyond happy; I had one more day with my love.
“I’m lost for words, I can’t believe it. Can we see him?, “I ask while smiling.
“Yes you can all see him. We put him into his own room, so his out of the ICU, which is good, “The doctor replied.
Few minutes later I got off the phone with the doctor, I jump down from the bunk and ran into the front. I couldn’t help but smile, he was live.
“Jacks alive, his awake, “I yelled.
Everyone smiled the first time in days, words could not describe how we all felt in that moment.
“Can we go see him, “Zach ask
“Yes we can, were going now, “I replied.
We all walk out the bus I felt the warm air all around me, today is a beautiful day the first day it’s been sunny in days. We all got into the van and drove off; nothing could take my happiest away from me.
30 minutes later we pulled up at the hospital as soon as the van stop I jump right out, I couldn’t wait any longer I wanted to see Jack. I ran inside the front sliding doors running towards the nurse’s decks.
“Can you tell me what room Jack Barakat is in, “I ask while trying to catch my breath. Just then, the rest of the guys came in.
“His on the fifth floor, room 502, “The nurses said being the computer. I nodded before running off to the elevator.
“Alex will you wait for us, “Ryan said while walking over.
“Sorry I’m just excited I can’t wait any loner, “I said while waiting for the elevator
“We can tell, “Zack said.
Once the elevator doors open we all got in, it seem like everything was taking forever. Finally, we reach the fifth floor; I got off and ran down the hallway trying to find his room. After going in down the wrong hallways I finally found it. I walk in to see Jack sleeping; I couldn’t help but feel the tears build up in my eyes. I couldn’t believe he was alive I never gave up though I knew he wouldn’t leave me. I tried to be quiet but I failed, Jack open his eyes and when he saw me, he smiled.
“What took you so long, “He whispers out.
“I just found out you were awake, if I could I would have never left your side, “I said while standing besides his bed.
“I know you wouldn’t have. Now don’t just stand there, climb in, “He said while scooting over.
“No don’t, I’m fine, “I said while looking at him.
“I spent too many night without you, I can’t go for another day, now get in, “He replied.
I just smiled; I climb in and lay beside him. I was never going to leave his side again.

Once the elevator doors open we all got in, it seem like everything was taking forever. Finally, we reach the fifth floor; I got off and ran down the hallway trying to find his room. After going in down the wrong hallways I finally found it. I walk in to see Jack sleeping; I couldn’t help but feel the tears build up in my eyes. I couldn’t believe he was alive I never gave up though I knew he wouldn’t leave me. I tried to be quiet but I failed, Jack open his eyes and when he saw me, he smiled.
