I never thought I would be going on another date I had give up on love I started to think love was not for me, if it didn’t work out the second time who’s to say it would happen for a third time?. Carmela would not give up on this whole give love another try, that I should go on another date so I finally gave in. One of my friends had set this date up I have been beyond nerves, I almost forgot how going on a date felt like. It was almost time for my date, I walk into the living room to see Carmela watching TV.
“ I hope your happy about this, I’m only doing this for you so you will stop bugging me about this whole dating thing, “ I said while grabbing my jacket.
“ You know deep down dad your doing this because you want love, I can tell. But if it helps putting this on me then go ahead but I know the truth. Now go out and have fun for once in your life, “ She said while turning her head towards me.

I got into my car and headed towards the restaurant, it was not fancies it was a simple place. I really didn’t won’t to go on this date this wasn’t me, I’m just not meant to love. Before I even knew it I was already here I sit in my car for a few minutes, I was thinking about if I should go in or just drive away. I shouldn’t be like this I should be wanting to give this a try it has been so long since I have gone a date, I sigh and got out of my room.
My date would have short brown hair, with hazel eyes. He would be wearing a black leather jacket and waiting at the front. I walk inside and saw my date and if I could I would be running away right now, he was tripping over his self, could not stand up without falling over. My date was beyond drunk I tried to sneak out but my date saw me.
" Heyyyy, " He slurd out while falling over his own feet.
While he was down on the groud trying to get back up I headed out the door, I knew this was a bad idea. I should have never done this I'm not ready to date but I made a deal with Carmela and I knew if I didn't keep up my end of the deal she would never let me hear the end of it.
I got back into my car and drove home this was not how I picture things. I took the long way home it gave me time to clear my mind, maybe deep down I was kind of sad of how things went. I did want love I've always dream of having a family but it seem like it would never happen. I pulled into the drive way and got out of the car, I made my way inside the house.
" Your back early, I take it the date didn't go well, " Carmela said while looking at me from the living room.
" My date could barely stand on his own feet, he was beyond drunk, " I said while going into the living room.
" Wow that's mess up. I'm sorry dad I know this wasn't how you picture things, but maybe tomorrow will be better, " She said.
" We can only hope, right, " I said while sitting beside her.
It was true we could only hope.
