Actually, from what I've observed, I think that '3' rating on the main page is frozen for all time, as it was only accessible when the story was a single chapter. Which sucks, if I'm right, but at least he didn't shut the site down when he got tired of it. Though I wish he'd open-source the code so somebody else could clean it up so it worked like one would expect, with the chapter-ratings average added onto that first-impressions rating. One change-flag added to the database for each story, set whenever a rating changes, and then a periodic background process that goes around updating flagged totals.
Meanwhile, back at the fic, this was very much a fun chapter. One doesn't often see Slytherins depicted as real people, but I can't really see the other three houses behaving like this, so it was both insightful and in-character. Maybe Oren is getting a handle on relationships this time around... if he can only avoid blowing his fool head off messing with that Horcrux. Well done. Keep going.Let's Try That Again, Shall We?

Warnings?! There were warnings?! Good night, now I have to go back and look at them. And after the football game tonite, I'm bringing out this chapter to get some action myself - he may not like fanfiction, but he does like a good scene... Very well written. :DAuthor's response
Ficwad makes you click through several things to figure out which chapter a review is about, so I had assumed this was chapter 42, but no! I'm curious to know what you will think of the stuff that really _is_ explicit.

Thanks! I have this idea that if it's not disreputable and unsettling, you're doing fanfiction wrong. Hopefully I live up to that standard at least occasionally throughout the story!
That said, I can't honestly say that Chapter 16 advanced the plot much. :)
