6th period came around and I was nervous. I was there before Frank, and I nervously waited for him to walk through the classroom door.

Perhaps I was in love, I don't know. The whole idea was just ridiculous. Whycan't I get this guy off my mind?

Just as the bell rang, he came in. The teacher started talking about something like atomic structure. I don't even know why I took Chemistry... I don't even plan on going to school pass high school. What's the point? I'll be dead in no time.

It was a really boring class, but I couldn't help but have sweaty palms and constantly changing my position ever so often. Just when I thought I'd die, the bell rang. I threw all my books in my locker and as I was leaving, some jock pushed his friend into me.

"Gross! Fuck you Mark!" The guy who got pushed into me yelled and was wiping his football jacket. I rolled my eyes, and pushed open the door.

The air was warm, the clouds in the sky were grey and the smell of rain was present. It literally happened in 10 seconds. At first it was small drops, and within seconds it had turned into a steady downpour.

I ran to the bus stop for shelter and groaned. Either I pay $3.00 for the bus or walk home in the rain. I bent down and scavenged my shoe for money, bringing up a crumpled dollar bill,4 quarters and a couple pennies that were pretty irrelevant.

I only had $2.00... maybe the bus driver would be nice? But with my luck, I'd doubt it. I'll just ask someone for some change. Just as I got up from searching through my shoe I saw a boy standing there. He had a Megadeth sweater on with skinny jeans. His chocolate brown eyes, which I could see clearly now, were so... amazing.

It was Frank, my Chemistry partner.

Maybe I should just call Ronnie and get him to pick me up...

Fuck, he works until 5:00.

"Hey!" I called to him. He looked at me and pulled out his iPod ear buds.

"What?" He asked.

"Do you have an extra dollar?" I asked. He stared at me for a while, hesitant. Finally, he took of his shoe and got out 4 quarters. I held out my hand and he dropped the quarters into it.

"Thanks," I said. He shrugged, "Don't mention it."

My bus finally came and noticed Frank getting on it. I didn't know if that was a good thing or a bad thing.

When I got on the bus I grabbed a seat near the middle, noting that Frank was at the back. I felt his eyes on me the whole time. To be honest, I kind of liked the fact that he was looking at me, I mean he was such a babe.

I bit my lip. But I can't like him. I mean it's just selfish to like him.

When I saw my apartment building in the distance, I pulled the string. The bus came to a stop and I saw Frank getting up. We even shared the same stop! This is just ridiculous. Who is this kid? Where the hell did he come from?!

It was still raining, so I put my hood up and walked fast to the apartment. I glance behind me and saw that Frank running in the opposite direction.

---

"Why are you all wet?" I asked, as Ronnie came in, throwing his jacket in the closet and stoming on the rug.

"Well, I drove Jeremy home and he thought it'd be a good idea to go dancing in the rain with barefeet," Ronnie said.

"That's gay," I said.

"I know. It was magnificent," Ronnie said and pretended to faint on the couch opposite of the chair I was sitting in.

"What are you watching?" He asked.

"I'm not watching anything," I said. Ronnie started flipping through the channels.

"I'm hungry, let's order pizza," I said. When Ronnie didn't answer I yelled, "Frank! Fuck- I mean... Ronnie!" Shit, I accidently called him Frank. Maybe he didn't notice.

"Frank?" He asked. I shrugged.

"Frank?" He said again. "Who's that?"

"No one..." I said. Ronnie got off the couch and came over to me.

"What are you doing?" I asked.

"Tell me who Frank is," he said, standing over me.

"No one! Honestly!" I said.

"Don't make me force it out of you, Gerard, it won't be pleasant, trust me."

"Look, Ronnie, he's my chemistry partner. That's all."

"He must've been on your mind for you to accidently call me Frank," he said. I rolled my eyes.

"Gerard! Do you LOVE Frank?!" Ronnie asked.

"You don't even know him! And neither do I," I said and threw a couch coushion at him.

"But I know you, and I know that you're in LOVE with Frank," he said, putting emphasis on 'love'.

"I just met him yesterday," I said, then remembering Ronnie's recent lover was just discovered yesterday I added, "I'm not that desperate." Ronnie stuck his tongue out and walked over to the kitchen.

"Let's go grocery shopping. We need milk. And bread. And cereal..." Ronnie said.

---

"So tell me more about this Frank,” Ronnie said as we walked down the aisles of Wal-Mart.

“Like I said, I hardly even know him,” I said.

“What does he look like?” He asked. I ignored him and walked ahead to where the milk was. I half-expected to see Frank shopping in there, have you ever got that feeling? I don’t know… maybe it’s just me. Instead of seeing Frank there, I saw Jessica. She was looking at the yogurt, not too far away from the milk. I immediately turned around and started walking towards Ronnie.

“Gerard? What’s wrong?” He asked. I shushed him.

“Don’t say my name out loud,” I said barely above a whisper. He looked confused. I glanced behind me and saw Jessica still there.

“Hey! Isn’t that Jessica?” Ronnie asked.

“Yes,” I said. I was afraid that Ronnie would do something, like yell out her name. Instead he stayed quiet, surprisingly enough. I glanced behind me and saw her walk away, not noticing me. I breathed a sigh of relief.

"So tell me more about this Frank," Ronnie said, I rolled my eyes and started walking away.
