Bunny and I were in the back. The wind blew my hair out of my face and cooled my skin. Bunny raised his hands in the air with a victory whoop. The car was an older convertable with no roof. We were all smiles and laughter. Except Shark. He looked dead serious. We were going faster than I ever had before and it was amazing, but Shark was unfazed.
"Whats wrong?" I shouted over the wind.
"That they'll be back out in 2 minutes and if they see us we're dead sums it up." He replied from the drivers seat. That's when I noticed that the car was the same dusty terra-cotta color as the sand. Camoflauge! Brilliant! I pulled Bunny down with all my might.
"What the-"
"Get down! If theey see us we're dead!" So bunny and I pressed ourselves against the sandy floor of the car. There wasn't much space so he ended up on top of me.
"Don't get any ideas." I warned him. He just grinned.
