  It's hard to build up that much of a negative karma debt and continue to avoid the consequences. Severus's luck is being sorely tested. Chapter 18 will start the ball rolling towards more battles and more character death as the war begins in earnest. Jim

  I like what you did with Molly being the only one that wouldn't kill Penny; The suspicions on Snape are very well thought out, I like how you had everyone react to them, and loved the insight to Snape's mind. Keep up the great work: I can't wait for another foray into Peter's mind! Update when you can, but until then good luck in your real life activities.

  Like I said earlier. Taking a cannon Molly and convincing her to use a dark artifact on another person was the highlight of this chapter. No matter how hard I try, I just can't see Snape as a good guy. Jim

  The last two chapter's have been really good. It was really funny how Penny have caught, by Percy. I do wonder about Ginny, did she learn anything from the Diary of Tom Riddle aka Voldamort. Seem to me that answer would be no. She hardle know Penny and it should take time to build trust. I heard a saying once it take week to build trust, but can be destroyed in minutes.

  I am glad you appreciate the twists I have worked to include. The version of Ginny in this story is a bit immature as opposed to all the worldly wise versions of her in fandom that wrap naive Harrys around their mature beyond their years fingers. Jim

  Yeah. The chapter was a loose ends chapter and a plot pusher to set up the next few chapters.

  Having Percy's ghost narc on Penny was a master stroke! Now, I want to see Snape get his in a really, really big way.
