The sun was low in the sky. It was summer, and there was a cool breeze blowing gently through the green leaves which hung on the thick branches of the beech trees, which lined the street in the small secluded village. The sky was pale blue, and there were only thin, wispy clouds drifting peacefully through the atmosphere. It was the early evening, and the small road was deserted. This village had about 200 residents, whom were mostly retired and enjoying an easy, rural life. There was only one shop in the whole village; a small, local corner shop, selling essentials such as bread and milk, tobacco and newspapers.

...The world is quiet here.
