Wow. It's so graphically written - the story has an enhantment of it's own. I particularily like the historical aspect that has been brought in. I'm excited to find out what these phantoms are capable of. Somehow it reminds me of The Great Gatsby - just gone wrong - but in a very good way. As always- astounding! ;-) Can't wait for more! Thanks! I'm delighted you're enjoying it, this is quite an unusual one for me, so it helps to know that it's going okay.
The historical aspect starts off as fact, the car crash, the house and some of the people, but everything after that I've made up. I figure these ghosts have to be someone, right? :)
Thanks for reviewing!

Uh, sorry but this story just doesnt make any sence at all. The timing is kinda confusing. And if the place creeped them that bad, why didnt they just leave? So yeah, sori. AngiAuthor's response
Hi Angi, sorry you're not enjoying it. Maybe if I explain a few bits it'll make sense?
First, it's set during the making of The Black Parade, and in the place where they actually recorded it. It's part fact, part fiction.
The facts: The Paramour Mansion is where they recorded The Black Parade and they really were creeped out by some very strange happenings - Bob's bathtub, slamming doors, night terrors (you hear little snippets of Gerard discussing this in an interview at the start of Sleep) etc. Mikey ended up having to leave the house and only return for recording, but he couldn't stay there.
Also, there was a woman named Daisy Canfield who lived there in the 20s and early 30s who died in a car crash in 1933 and she's believed to be the cause of some of the hauntings. Mikey's trauma and reaction to what he felt in his room and around the house etc has been documented by the band a reasonable amount - enough to piece a few bits together. Papa Roach also recorded there and they experience similar things.
The fiction: All the stuff about the man and Lucy, the friend and I've taken artistic license with some of the events - it is supposed to be fiction after all :)
The timing is all set during the recording, but in this chapter Mikey is just reading from the old diary he's found from 1933. It's still current time within the story.
As for why they didn't just leave the house - well, you'd have to ask them. They were very creeped out and they did stay (except Mikey). I've speculated that the label had put so much money and effort into the project that they couldn't pull out and go somewhere else, but it's just a guess.
Part fact/part fiction stories are often a little tricky because it can be uncertain where fact stops and fiction starts, but that's supposed to be the fun of it. Also, it's quite heavily descriptive as I've tried to follow Mikey's thoughts and observations rather than just 'then this happened, then that, then this...etc'. So it's more reflective and, hopefully, feels like it might be personal.
You can pretend it's all fact or all fiction if that helps. If you still don't like it, well, I can only say I'm sorry and hope you'll find something else you prefer - after all, there are no shortage of stories here.

Hi Angi
No problem. Thanks for letting me know that parts were confusing - I hope it's cleared it up.
If I'm lucky, maybe you'll start to enjoy the story. If not, then thanks so much for reading so far and best wishes.

The same goes for anyone else - if there's something you're not happy with in the story (and clearly there is, as someone has spent a lot of time and effort rating down all of my chapters) perhaps you'd like to contact me?

This story has to be one of my favourites. It's so descriptive and I'm really into reading fanfictions about the paramour mansion and it's awesome to see that you have put a back story into this. Lucy and the evil killer give the story some serious creepy factor! I hope you update soon!
