ANOTHER DISCLAIMER: I do not own the song, "You Like Me Too Much"- not even on iTunes.

A few days later, George had a song. He called it “You Like Me Too Much”. The others thought it was good and planned to put it on the album. Right before recording it, George made a phone call.
“Jenny? Is Pattie there?” he asked. He waited for a while before talking again. “Pattie? It’s George- I have another song for you.” George put the phone down, ran to the mic with his guitar, and started playing:
Though you've gone away this morning,
You'll be back again tonight,
Telling me there'll be no next time
If I don't just don't treat you right,
You'll never leave me and you know it's true,
'cause you like me too much and I like you.

You've tried before to leave me,
But you haven't got the nerve
To walk out and make me lonely
Which is all that I deserve,

You'll never leave me and you know it's true,
'cause you like me too much and I like you.
I really do, and it's nice when you believe me,
If you leave me

I will follow you
And bring you back where you belong
'cause I could't really stand it,
I admit that I was wrong,
I wouldn't let you leave me 'cause it's true,
'cause you like me too much and I like you.

'cause you like me too much and I like you.
I really do, and it's nice when you believe me,
If you leave me

I will follow you
and bring you back where you belong
'cause I couldn't really stand it,
I admit that I was wrong,

I wouldn't let you leave me 'cause it's true,
'cause you like me too much and I like you,
'cause you like me too much and I like you.
When the song was over, he got back to the phone. “Well, what did you think?” He listened and became angry again. “Why won’t you get the point to these songs, woman?” He hung up the phone.
“Now what’d she say?” Paul asked.
In his girly voice, he replied, “‘Oh, but I didn’t leave you this morning. Plus, you haven’t followed me to bring me back to your place!’ Why do women have to be so… so…,” He kicked the couch, but immediately held his foot in pain and hopped around the studio.
“I don’t know- that’s just women for you!” John joked.
“What am I going to do?” he said, sitting on the couch that had just injured his foot. He put his head in his hands. “I can’t let her go. I need her!”
“Then tell her about it!” Paul said. “Write her another song!” George nodded and got up so that they all could get some more work done.
