Entertaining thought experiment. Reminds me of "be careful what you wish for" over on ff.net.
I think you swapped a word, using succeeded, when you meant secceeded (or something like that).

Outstanding!
The mere mention of Draco Malfoy as a slave, makes me want to jump up and down screaming like a cheerleader!!! The two youngest Weasleys...ewwww...yuck.
This was a first-rate story. Your imagination is exceptional. Thank you for sharing this. I really enjoyed reading it.
KUTGW, no---keep up the GREAT work,

I liked it. Would love to see it extended, if only to find out what Harry and Hermione had been doing. Creepy though in how the Weasleys acted towards the end.The End of Pure England

Bred to self destruction with no latent radiation. Way to go. Cheers.

Somehow, your look at an epilogue here seems more likely than JKR's 19 years later. The idea that the 'right thinking' elements of the MoM could maintain control is not at all unexpected for post-V especially if it is revealed that both Tom Riddle and Potter are half-bloods. I'm just surprised there weren't more attempts to assassinate Harry & Hermione after the battle and after they left. The End of Pure England

Enjoyable story. The Weasley plan ... shudder. Liked Harry's discovery of the dementor's use as wand cores.
Not sure why Ginny didn't try to follow Harry. But the way she acted, glad she didn't.
Thanks for the story.Author's response
I just don't buy Ginny really being in love with Harry before they got married in canon -- she would have wanted to marry the 'boy-who-conquered' but not 'that exiled boy who might end up anywhere with no money'
Others obviously disagree! The End of Pure England

The crazy thing is, I see this happening if they did get rid of everyone deemed not pure. The End of Pure England

I appreciate the overall ideal but the implementation in this story was a bit too extreme to take seriously. I mean, reducing the population of the entire country down to 756?!??? And then to 147? Jeeze.
I read a review here that suggested that you meant 'seceded' for 'succeeded' with the family consortia - that makes much more sense, I understand that now! As it was I was wondering how Neville got to appear with Harry and the 'good guys' there at the end. Silly of me, I should have thought about it and worked out the true word myself.
The Weasley inbreeding is horrible to contemplate but I guess pureblood incest is part of Rowling's canon. Actually I'm not sure; is it actually mentioned in black and white for the Gaunts? Certainly it's not in character for canon's Ron and Ginny though. I think you'll have to plead 'guilty' to the charge of Weasley bashing this time. :-)
Apart from the overall concept the part I enjoyed most of the story was the "Harry rescuing Hermione" preface. We had something much like that in your other story just recently, a few paragraphs of Harry (well, the International coalition) saving Luna from the Malfoys ... now much the same thing with Hermione. "Warmth and affection and cleanliness and soup; all while rocking in the best cradle imaginable". It's always so nice to consider Harry playing the hero and being so solicitous of his best friends' welfare, I do like that.
Thanks for the story! Feel free to write more! :-)Author's response
Yes, while not really a 'crack' fic, this was not meant to be taken too seriously, and yes, this was certainly Molly-bashing at the least! The End of Pure England

I like dth fact that Logic wins out over Bigotry and inbred stupidity. I think if the canon storyline went on this would be a viable possibility.
Nice to see this in story form!
