2- Consequences
Madison fears that the consequence for her mistake will be a lot bigger than she ever expected...
?Blocked
Madison had finally started to control her sobbing as time passed and now she was simply cuddling with herself in her bed. She was awfully lonely and her face still ached as proof that she hadn't imagined her visitor. She hadn't slept with anyone but him. In ever.
She was finally starting to drift off when she heard banging and realized it was her front door. This was enough to kind of startle Madison. She wasn't expecting anyone and she was fairly sure it wasn't Jon returning for another fight. She stood slowly and made her way down the stairs after grabbing a baseball bat from her closet. She was holding it close in a defensive manner as she descended the stairs.
The knocking continued steadily though Madison stood at the bottom of the stairs waiting for it to go away. Since it wasn't she worked up the courage to open the door and stepped forward, opening it slowly. As she did she was met with a gorgeous yet small boy that burst out laughing upon seeing her with a baseball bat. "Well Jon didn't inform me that I was facing a baseball bat death...." He said between laughing.
Upon hearing Jon's name Madison didn't lower the bat. "Who are you?" She asked, eyeing the boy. She didn't recognize him.
"Oh we've seen each other around at school Madison. I'm Ryan, Jon's friend. He sent me over tonight." Ryan showed Madison his bag that seemed to be packed for the night. "He couldn't let his girl stay somewhere alone all night I guess..." He said, yawning.
"I'm not Jon's girl." Madison said, through gritted teeth.
"Yeah, I'm sure." Ryan said, rolling his eyes yet still amused by the baseball bat. "Can I come in? It's slightly cold. My nipples are hardening as we speak."
Madison found herself lowering the bat, slightly amused by this boy yet she found it strange that Jon thought her a slut and yet sent over a male friend to keep an eye on her. Or maybe he expected her to try to sleep with him? Whatever. "Come in." Madison said, tiredly.
Ryan bounced in after Madison. "Where will I be sleeping?" He asked, happily.
"I don't care." Madison said as she walked upstairs to her bedroom.
She could hear Ryan following her but she did her best to ignore him.
"So how long have you and Jon been... whatever you are?" He asked, curiously as they filed in to her bedroom.
"Never." She stated, angrily.
"Well then explaining my presence is hard." Ryan said, scratching the back of his head.
"It kind of is, yes. He told you to come stay the night?" Madison asked again, feeling a little unsure of the situation.
Ryan nodded and sat on Madison's bed as he grabbed the remote to her tv and turned it on, messing with the buttons and searching the channels carelessly. He didn't seem to think the situation was strange at all.
Madison felt it would be good to check so she picked up her phone and texted Jon's number which she decided at that moment to save, just in case. She might have to text him later to get rid of this strange boy. She didn't like being babysat. Silently she texted him, "You sent over a boy named Ryan?"
Instant response. "Yes, he's my best friend. He'll make sure you're safe."
Madison rolled her eyes and set down her phone. Well atleast now she was sure why he was at her home. Well kind of. She didn't know Jon's motive's but she didn't even want to bother there. The last thing she needed was to get sucked in to Jon's life. Plus he hit her. She wasn't down with that.
Ryan settled on a channel and Madison heard him laughing as she drifted off, holding her phone even though she hadn't texted Jon back. Her lullaby that night was a thousand reasons why she shouldn't care about Jon.

Ryan was laying at the end of Madison's bed in a peaceful sleep but was woken by movement from the bed. He rolled over on to his back to see Madison rush to the bathroom. She didn't have time to throw the door closed as she fell to her knees and became violently sick.
Ryan looked at the clock next to Madison's bed as he sat up. 7 am. He never woke up this early. He even got late start for school so that he wouldn't have to wake up unnecessarily early. "Are you okay?" He asked, yawning.
Madison coughed miserably as she pulled herself away from the toilet and went for the water faucet. "I'm just lovely." Madison muttered, disgusted and still sleepy.
"Need me to get you anything?" Ryan asked, coming to the bathroom doorway, leaning against the wall.
"Grape juice?" Madison asked, that would do the trick of washing this disgusting taste from her mouth.
Ryan left immediately to go get the grape juice from downstairs. As he was messing around in the kitchen he also grabbed his phone and started texting Jon. "She's not the most friendly." Madison hadn't seemed to want to be his friend at all and he didn't know much about her to get conversation started.
Jon texted back, "She's not in a good place right now."
Ryan sighed and grabbed the grape juice he had poured in to a cup and walked up the stairs with it multi-tasking as he quickly texted, "She's sick. Brownie points if you bring something sweet." Then tucked his phone back in to his pocket.
It didn't take Jon long to act on that statement. About 35 minutes later there was a knock on Madison's front door and Jon found himself standing there nervously. Would she even let him in? Madison and Ryan were sitting upstairs on her bed talking. She had finally started warming up to him. They were talking about trivial things though and then Ryan started talking about his band and he got passionately hooked on the subject. "I'll wait here." Ryan said warmly, winking since he knew who it was.
Madison got up and went down the stairs, unsure of who it would be. She hadn't thought of Jon much that morning. It was nice to have company though. Ryan was very nice to her. She liked that.
All good feelings went out the door when she opened her front door and she found her face slowly changing to portray a frown for her not so favorite first. "Yes?" Madison asked Jon rudely.
Jon was standing nervously, holding a bag. "Can I come in?"
Madison shrugged and backed up so that he could walk in. Jon came in and walked in to the kitchen, setting the plastic bag down. "I heard you were sick... I didn't know what kind of sick though so I grabbed an array of things."
Madison noticed that as she went through the contents. There was cough syrup, candy, pepto, aspirin and multiple other things. Then she noticed another plastic bag hanging from his coat pocket. "What's that?" She asked, curiously.
"Oh, nothing." Jon said, nervously, shoving more of the bag in to his pocket.
Madison grabbed at it and it slide easily from his pocket. Jon knew there was no fighting her for it. He simply looked at his feet as he heard her sharp intake of breath. "Get out." She said angrily.
Jon knew he had made a mistake, that's why he had shoved it in his pocket last second. When he was browsing at the store he had come by the sex aisle and found pregnancy tests. He had grabbed a box in his slight anger at how him and Madison had fought the night before. He meant it to hurt her but he'd changed his mind last minute. He didn't want to be spiteful.
Jon raised his eyes to Madison's and saw tears as she looked at the pregnancy test box. "Get out." She repeated.
Ryan had walked in to the kitchen and caught some of the conversation. "I think you should leave." He said softly, feeling Madison's pain. That was a low thing for his friend to do. Jon nodded and left the kitchen without another word.
Madison felt the box caving in with the pressure she had been applying so she stopped and dropped it in to the bag with all of the other stuff Jon had brought on her kitchen table. Then she grabbed the bag and started going up to her bedroom with it. Not something she really wanted her parents to snoop through. "I don't think he meant to hurt you like that." Ryan said softly, following Madison. She shoved the bag under her kitchen sink and shrugged. "I really don't care anymore."
"Yes you do Madison." Ryan said, groaning. "Let's not pretend here."
Madison rolled her eyes. "Why are you here again?"
"For charm?" Ryan asked, winking.
"Uh huh. Well maybe you should go home charm boy." Madison said, kind of wanting to be alone.
Ryan seemed very unsure so Madison continued. "I'll be okay really. Jon doesn't need me to be constantly watched."
Ryan shrugged. "Well... Call me if you need me." He said and grabbed Madison's phone as he punched his number in quickly. "It's in there for you." And with that he left her alone.
As soon as Madison heard the door downstairs close she sunk on to her bed and sighed. "I don't know what's going on anymore!" She yelled to her ceiling, which just made her feel like a fool.
Wasn't it usually the girl that was clingy after having sex? Or that's how the story was told anyway. So then why was Jon around suddenly? She didn't need him!
Her flow of angry thoughts became interrupted as she suddenly got the urge to be violently ill again. This time she slammed her bathroom door closed and decided to make herself at home, even bringing a pillow. She found herself anticipating the sickness a little more ahead of time now.
As her phone vibrated from the bathroom counter she sighed, hoping she was done now. There couldn't be anything else left, could there? She hoped not.
She flipped her cell phone open to see Jon had texted her. "I'm Sorry... Are you okay?" No...
Madison realized in horror that for the last two months she hadn't had her period and she'd recently been a little too close with the toilet for comfort... She'd been partying hard enough to overlook the symptoms but she wasn't stupid and health class had informed them of what happened when a boy and a girl got together. All she needed was the pregnancy test pushed in her face for it to all fall together...
Madison texted Jon back... "Did you use protection?"
Jon texted back. "No, I figured you were on the pill. Aren't you?"
Madison's heart fell upon reading that. She wasnt on any kind of pill. She didn't even know much about birth control. She thought guy's did that part. Oh boy. Now she realized just why teenagers shouldn't have sex. She didn't know anything.
For all the time spent in health class... She was awfully unprepared.
Madison immediately yanked the pregnancy test from her bathroom drawer. The box had two. She would need both tonight. Please just be crazy. The sudden change in partying could account for menstrual changes. All the alcohol could explain being sick.
She thought all of the possibilities through and as she did her phone continued buzzing an insane amount and she knew that she had Jon freaked out on the other end. She couldn't be bothered with him at the moment though. What if she was pregnant? It's not like he'd be any help. They were both in high school. They were both so young and naive.
But she couldn't be! Madison felt her tummy, rubbing it then she even talked to it out of her crazed state. "I would feel if there was a baby in here... I would know. I would feel it!" She tried to convince herself.
But in the end she knew it would all depend on what the tests told her.
