Sorry for the major delay, major writers block...
Kirrah’s/Crash Exploder’s POV
(Three months later)
“Do we have any chocolate?” I asked as Sonic Sunrise, Beyond Birthday and Detonator Android helped me into my dress.
“Really Crash? Your about to get married and all you can think about is chocolate?” laughed Sonic Sunrise.
“Hey! It’s not my fault! I hate these stupid cravings!” I groaned. I looked down at my body, I had started to show a while ago, and now it was quite obvious that I was pregnant, and holy fuck my tits were huge! I mean, before this they were tiny, but now I swear they had doubled, maybe even tripled in size!
A knock at the door cut off whatever smart ass reply Sonic was about to make.
“You guy’s ready yet?” asked Black-Hearted Beauty as she poked her head through the door.
“Just a minute,” said Beyond Birthday as she laced up the back of my dress. We had decided that we would not use white at this wedding, white was no longer the colour of happiness and purity, white was the colour of the enemy, it was vile, controlled, mindless, I could go on forever. So instead, we had tie-dyed my dress, making it bright and colourful. It was a symbol of everything we stood for, freedom, self-expression and the ability to think for one’s self…
“You look beautiful!” said Detonator Android once she finished her hair.
“You ready?” asked Sonic with a smile.
“As I’ll ever be,” I replied, I grabbed the origami flowers that lay next to me (Real flowers would be hard to come by in the desert) and got up, “Let’s do this!”
I got up and walked out of the room behind my three bridesmaids.
Frank’s POV
Oh god oh god oh god! Were we ready to get married? No. Were we ready to have a baby? No. Were we ready for any of this? Hell no! But did I love her? Yes, with all my heart. Would I do anything for her? Yes. Would I love this baby? Yes, it hadn’t been born yet but I already loved it. A million thoughts and doubts about our future whirled around in my brain as I waited for my beautiful bride. I began to wonder if we would have gotten married if not for the baby. My answer was yes, I love her so much, sure, maybe it wouldn’t have happened so fast, but in a few years, we would have. We could have had our own house, a dog or two, our kids could have played in a normal backyard, had normal names, made friends with the neighbours kids, gone to school, grown up in a safe place… But no, this war had ripped any chance our child had for a normal life, he or she was a war baby, and that would affect their life dramatically. What kind of life was this for a child? Hell, what kind of life was this for anyone? We had worked so hard to provide Crash with good food that would help the baby develop properly, but how long could we keep it up for the baby? Sonic Sunrise and Party Poison had almost been shot trying to get milk for her. The rest of us had been eating what we assumed was dog food, it actually wasn’t that bad, but none of us thought that would be too good for the baby.
All of my thoughts about the future were cut off when Crash Exploder walked out of the cabin, her tie dyed dress fell just below her knees, a quite noticeable baby bump showed in her stomach, in my opinion it just made her look even more adorable, her hair had small origami flowers woven through it, but the best part? The best part was the massive grin plastered across her beautiful face. Beyond Birthday, Detonator Android and Sonic Sunrise walked in front of her, scattering small paper flowers on the ground in front of them.
Jet Star, Party Poison and Fun Ghoul stood in a row behind me, with Party Poison being the best man, They were whispering something to each other, but I wasn’t paying attention to that, I couldn’t take my eyes off the beautiful girl walking towards me. This girl that I had not even known for half a year yet, but I was absolutely sure that I was in love with her, this strong, beautiful girl, who had somehow fell for me, was about to become my wife. Suddenly, all my doubts vanished, we had been through so much together and surely as long as we were together we could survive this.
The wedding whirled by, after exchanging our vows, Ryan, who had decided on the killjoy name of Cyanide Killer, pronounced us as husband and wife. I lifted her up off her feet and kissed her passionately, ignoring our friends ‘awws.’
“I love you,” I whispered into her ear with a smile.
“I love you too,” she replied as she brought her lips to mine once again before turning to our friends. She linked her arm through mine as we walked back down the aisle.
Our friends started to throw desert sand on us, we couldn’t waste the small amount of rice that we had. Leslie, who we now called Northern Lights, and Sonic Sunrise were laughing as they threw something else at us… I laughed.
“Guys!” giggled Crash Exploder as she picked up one of the packet of condoms that they threw at us.
“Well it’s your wedding night! And we need to make sure this doesn’t happen again!” laughed Sonic.
“Yum, cherry flavoured,” I said once I caught one.
“Ghoul!” laughed Crash as she hit me lightly on the arm.
Northern Lights was almost on the ground laughing until he winced in pain. He may be up and able to walk a little, but he still had a long way to go until he was better.
“We have a gift for you!” said Black-Hearted Beauty as she bounced up and down on her heels.
“Follow us,” said Toxic Bite excitedly. Lady Madness, Apoclyto and Chemical Corpse ran ahead to wherever they were leading us.
“Where are we going?” asked Crash after we had walked about a kilometre.
“You’ll see, we’re almost there,” said Black-Hearted Beauty.
We walked in a comfortable silence for another two minutes, Crash’s hand clasped tightly in mine, I had no intention of letting her go any time soon.
“We’re here!” squeaked Toxic Bite as she and Black-Hearted Beauty gave an over-dramatic flourish. Yet I could see nothing.
“Huh?” I asked confused as to what we were meant to be seeing.
“Look up,” laughed a voice from above us. I looked up to see Chemical Corpse lowering down a ladder up to what seemed to be an oversized tree house. I knew that my mouth was hanging open like a fish out of water, but I didn’t care, this was awesome! I heard Crash gasp in shock at the beauty of what they had made.
Faded wooden panels formed a large platform in-between the branches of the large tree with a wooden ladder coming down to the ground. Smoother hand-rails made sure you wouldn’t fall once you were up there. A small, one room hut was built in the centre of the platform, the roof made of thatched straw with large tarps underneath it to stop the rain.
It was like an overly elaborate/over-sized tree house.
“Come on up!” laughed Lady Madness once the ladder had touched the ground. I gestured for Crash to go first and followed her up quickly, as if to make sure she didn’t fall. Once we were up on the platform, I quickly grabbed onto Crash’s hand again.
“Happy… wait, what would you call it? Wedding gift?” questioned Apoclyto as she stepped aside, letting us walk past her and into the hut.
“Th-thank you!” gasped Crash. The small room had been covered in tie-dyed material, even the double bed, which took up a little under half of the room, was rainbow. It was awesome! But wait… what was the pile of packets on the bed?
“Sonic!” laughed Crash. It was obviously not enough that she threw them at us at our wedding, but now she had to pile them on our new bed as well? I laughed.
“How often does she think we do it?” I laughed.
“And is there really any point for them at the moment? It’s not like I can be pregnant twice at the same time!” laughed Crash.
“Just because she and Party Poison are such whores with each other, they think everyone else is as well!” I laughed.
“Well… uh… happy wedding night, we’ll uh… leave you two alone,” said Chemical Corpse awkwardly before they all rushed out the door, giggling as they walked quickly back to the cabin.
“Our wedding night… I can’t believe we’re married,” whispered Crash.
“Neither can I. I never thought I would get to be with someone as amazing as you,” I whispered into her ear before kissing her tenderly. Our wedding night… With the woman I loved… And if I had the chance to do it all again? I wouldn’t change a thing.
tell me what you thought? To Kirrah, you have no idea how hard it was to write about your wedding (I think you know why :P ) so that's why it was a little vague... please R&R
Also, I'm gonna start asking y'all questions! firstly, what country are you from? I wanna know where me (few) readers are from :) if you think that's a little creepy, what bands have you seen live?
