Sorry it's been so long, enjoy.

Two cokes please

‘H-h-hi, my name's Stefan’ he stuttered.
'Yeah, Abi's told me quite a bit about you, I'm Alice by the way'
‘G-great to meet you, how are you?’ he nervously mumbled.
‘I’m good thank you, you?’ she grinned.
‘I’m good thanks, you?’
Nice one Stef.
A puzzled look spread across her face.
‘I’m good thank you’ she laughed.
Stefan’s cheeks reddened in embarrassment.
‘Erm... do you want a drink?’ he asked shyly, attempting to keep the conversation going.
‘Yeah sure, just a coke please’ she said while twiddling her hair.
They awkwardly walked to the bar.
‘What can I get for ya?’ the barman asked. He had a very strong cockney accent. Oh god.
‘Stefan, what did he say?’ Alice whispered.
‘Fuck knows!’
They both burst out in laughter.
Stefan went for the option that he asked what they wanted.
‘Can I have two cokes please’
The barman nodded politely before getting the drinks.
‘So, how long have you known Abi for then?’ Alice asked, not curious but just to start a conversation.
‘Not long, about 3 months? She’s great! I think Ashley took a bit of a liking to her’
Stefan took the drinks that the barman was shoving in his face, before handing Alice her coke and giving the barman money in return.
She thanked Stefan and then carried on the conversation.
‘Well, by the looks of things I think he has’ she said while pointing to Ashley and Abi who were full on flirting with each other.
‘Ashley’s such a babe magnet’ he joked.
‘But yeah, I actually met Abi through a good friend of mine, Cerys.’ He added.
‘I only met Cerys today, just before I met you actually. She seems lovely. I didn’t know you knew her’
‘Yeah! She’s basically my best friend. I’ve known her all my life’ he smiled.
‘So, tell me a bit more about yourself Stefan’
Stefan felt comfortable talking to her, he was nervous at first but by this time he found it easy. After all, she was just a normal girl.
‘Well, I’m 17, I have curly hair, I have a 13 year old sister called Emily. I enjoy singing and I do a bit of song writing in my spare time. What about yourself?’
‘You’re a song writer? Wow!’ Alice sounded impressed.
‘Well, not really. I just write songs when I’m bored or feeling down, they haven’t been used; they just lay about in my room.’
‘Ah, well you’ve got to show me some time’
‘Yeah, definitely!’ he grinned from ear to ear, he loved the fact that she seemed interested. Mind you, maybe she was just being polite.
‘Anyway, you didn’t answer my question. I’ve told you a bit about myself so what about you?’
‘I’m 17, blonde, I work half-time at a café in central London just for extra money and I think you look extremely hot in that top! Sorry, had to be said’ She didn’t even blush.
ASDFGHJKL;
^ That practically sums up how Stefan was feeling right then.
‘What else are you thinking?’ Nice try Stef.
‘That’s for me to know and you to never find out!’
They carried on talking for most of the night. They flirted. They giggled. They joked. They laughed. They smiled. Then Alice had to go.
‘Well, I best be off. It’s getting late and I’ve got work tomorrow’
‘Okay, well I’ll see you around yeah?’
‘Yeah’ she grinned.
Stefan kissed her on the cheek gently, she hesitantly stood up before announcing:
‘You know, it is kind of illegal to not ask a girl for their number after talking to them for 3 hours straight’ Alice cheekily said to Stefan.
‘Illegal? Well, I don’t want to get arrested now do I?’ he joked while Alice passed her phone to him as he tapped certain numbers.
‘Text me tomorrow’ Stefan ‘demanded’ before briefly giving her a peck on the lips and saying his farewells for the second time.
