By the time Gerard had opened his gifts, it was time for cake. Lindsey cut him a piece.
"Gee?"
Gerard stared at the cake, feeling nauseasous. He pushed iy away.
"You feeling OK?" she asked, checking for a fever.
Gerard shook his head, "No, I'm just not ready for solid food. Hospital gae v me IV fluids all the time."
Then Rodrick started crying in his carrier. Gerard picked him up, "What's wrong Malyenki Dyvol? You hungry?"
He kept crying.
"Need changed?"
"Mommy!! I think Rodrick's broken!" Bandit said.
"Hunny, you were like him at that age."
"No, Mommy! He's broken! Send him back to the hospical!!"
"I didn't cry as much though!"
Gerard tried calming Rodrick. He kept crying. Then, he took Rodrick to his crib, and gave him a binkie. Amazingly, Rodrick became silent.
Gerard had bags under his eyes, and looked sick.
I am not getting sick! He thought. I just gotta lie down.
He closed his eyes feeling off balance and nauseaous.
Good night...finally he thought
