  You dont just like a band because they save lives. I love MCR, and yeah, me and some of my friends have been suicidal. But I love the band because of their music and the people behind it. The raw emotion of Bullets and Revenge, the understanding I can get from Black Parade, and the new way to look at things found in Danger Days. And I dont stand out from a crowd. If I were in a random group of people, lets say in a mall or whatever, you could only MAYBE distinguish me because of a band shirt. But I dont wear a ton of makeup, I barely wear any. I dont dress in all black, though I do have a few black shirts, who doesn't? So yeah, stop being a judgmental hatefull wankering fucking cunt ass bitch and see that your being the biggest bigot I've ever seen and why don't you fucking grow up? But you know what, you can go and think whatever you want. ACTUALLY what you think is not important at all, because the fans know what they've gone through themselves, and they know what the band means to them, and they know that they're worth something. Yeah there's a few screaming fangirls who couldn't name 3 songs off the top of their head who're just trying to look cool. But the vast majority of us have a story, most of us have had shitty stuff happen. So shut the fuck up. or not. your choice. Im not listening to your bullshit or anyone else's. Deal WIth It.

  Do you see that? Do you see it? Do you see a loyal fan base standing up for their band? Do you see them fighting for their hopes, their dreams?
  Maybe thats why you hate MCR so much. You envy us. You want so badly to have something to believe in. Something to fight for. I'll leave you with a few simple words from My Chemical Romance and you tell me how much they suck.

  Wow...
  Seriously. I'm gonna have to thank you for posting this. Because even though at first it made me angry and a little sad someone can be so judmental and discriminative, reading through all the comments here has made me feel so happy. I've always known the MCRmy is full of beautiful people and your ridiculous hate has helped show that.
  For the record, I am a very optimistic person who rarely gets down and I'm happy to say I love life. Yes I am a 'middle class white kid' who is blessed to have a group of amazing friends and a loving family and for those two things I am eternally grateful. I do not listen to MCR and get down or have it remind me of my problems or whatever crap it was you were spouting, I listen to MCR because I love music. And whether you are prepared to face it or not they make incredible music, with a beautiful message behind it.
  I think anyone who thinks this band are making music for fame and money is clearly an idiot who doesn't actually know their arse from their elbow let alone about MCR.
  You mention that we 'fat ugly emo kids' only accept people who are like us... again, you obviously don't know shit about the MCRmy. The MCRmy is full of gorgeous people of all shapes and sizes, races, sexualities, religions and class. We're all beautiful and individual and despite our differences we all belong, and we all fight together and we all love each other.
  And you, I pity you. Because something you clearly don't have is love, and that makes you the ugliest person here.

  i don't supprt the things you're saying about mcr being an emo scheme (because they certainly aren't now, i don't know what they are, i don't think gerard knows what they are now, much less himself), but i have to agree with one things: my chemical romance totally sold out for fame.
  
  i watched mcr from bullets to now. the raw energy is gone. i JUST watched the yo gabba gabba episode. i get what gee might be trying to do, but it's not HIM. i've lost interest in mcr. i can't write about them anymore. i'll never claim mcr saved my life, but i was massively inspired by mcr. for a nearly ten years, mcr was a big chunk of my life. i'm disappointed in mcr because there hadn't been an original american musical act in so LONG. with such a strong fanbase. the fanbase is terrible now. it's a bunch of very violent, hormonal pre-teen girls. and now, apparently two year olds.
  
  what has happened to mcr?
  why did they change?
  what happened to cause gerard to lose himself so quickly?

  i find this whole agruement funny. its funnier do to the fact that im listening to a playlist all about MCR. and lovin every second. and i also love my family and life, so that proves that MCR isnt about emos and etc.

  though looking back over your article, resistance, and despite the fact that i agree with some of what you said, i have to say this:
  
  for someone who dislikes a band so much, you put massive amounts of energy and time into writing and talking about my chemical romance. apparently, you've listened to all four of their albums to notice the sound has changed drastically since the beginning. you sit there and do tons of research on mcr. i don't get it. i dislike the kardashians with a passion, but i don't go on forums and use every breathing second saying so just to rile people up. so you hate mcr. you're entitled to. but you have some fascination with them, because i see it in your writing. even through the misguided energy.
  
  i can see how mcr is a fun band to hate. all the members are aesthetically attractive. the lead singer isn't just a lead singer; he's a frontman. they're still fairly original.= considering most musical acts in this time period. they're one of the most influential main-stream music acts right now.

  Hey, guess what? Your opinion ain't gonna change the fact that music (yes, MCR being part of it) was the only hope I ever had when I was suicidal, bullied and had no friends. It's not going to stop people liking them, just cos you put up a hate thing. But what I just said won't change what you think, just like your opinion didn't change mine. I just wasted 30 seconds of my life typing this but IDEK! If we wanna listen to this we can. Since when did it become a crime to like some other music than you did?
