Before Gabe could stop him, Pete broke loose and grabbed a gun from the nearest guard, aimed at William, and pulled the trigger.
0Unrated
Pete turned his eyes to William Beckett, who, for the first time since they met, looked like a small, fragile being. For once he stared at Pete with fear, but with a noticeable look of regret or remorse. The liquid brown eyes that usually stared at anyone with a dark, evil hatred, or malicious intentions, now looked soft and oddly pathetic as they stayed focused on Pete. "What kind of mind game are you playing now Beckett?" He demanded softly, unable to handle anymore lies.
"I only killed Andrew," he responded, lowering his head, but keeping his eyes on Pete. "I only told Frank to tell you that your parents were dead. I wanted to break you, to make you need me. I'm so sorry for everything that I've done to you, and I don't expect or even think I deserve your forgiveness, Peter, but I need you to know how much I regret it all. Mistress Valencia will explain things to you, if you don't believe me, but I no longer wish to play games with you."
Pete looked to Valencia, who turned cold eyes to him. "He won't admit to me that he's still playing games with me, why?"
Valencia looked to her pet as she moved closer to him and softly stroked his back as he stood next to Frank. "Peter, when a vampire takes a pet, he or she can choose to release said pet at a later time. It's not a common case, but it can happen. When someone loses the restrictions of a pet's mind, sometimes, more often than not, the newly freed pet takes on a sense of power." She paused and gestured to William, who looked at her when he caught the motion of her hand. "William was unable to handle the new found sense of freedom, and not once did it lessen for him. He became one who fed off of the fear he put into the hearts of others. It was not his fault."
"He could have stopped it," growled Pete.
She gave a slow shake of her head. "No, Peter, he couldn't. Imagine if you suddenly became extremely popular, feared out of respect by numerous vampires. If you had your own coven to command and control, and no one could tell you otherwise after being someone's slave for years. A vampire has an ego as it is, but freedom, once it's given, can be a dangerous drug."
"I became a monster when I was granted freedom," William spoke in Pete's mind as he looked away from his Mistress to look at Pete. "She took away my sense of freedom, and it's cleared my mind. I'm so very sorry for all the losses you have endured at my hands, I want to make things right if you'll allow me to."
"How can you make things right William?" Pete questioned, narrowing his eyes slightly as his brows came together. "My friends have died because of you, and one of them was a human who can't be brought back just by pumping blood down his throat."
"Your brother only took a bullet to his head," William answered, a small smile on his lips. "If a medic from Gabe's coven could remove it, and he's given the proper amount of blood, he will be fine."
"If you're the one who put the bullet there, then my brother is dead," Pete replied, his voice wavering slightly with sorrow. "No human could handle a shot to the location we aim for."
"He hasn't been human for a few years now Pete," William stated, his words coming slowly to allow Pete a moment to absorb the news./ "I turned him only a few months after I bit you./"
Pete's anger flared beyond reason as the words sunk into his brain. "You turned my brother!?" He exclaimed as he lunged for William, but was quickly held back by Gabe, who rushed forward and secured him in his arms. "You turned my baby brother into the one thing he hated most!? I'll kill you!"
William's eyes went large when Pete first moved, but as soon as Pete was detained by Gabe, he moved closer to Valencia, seeing what danger was in front of him. "I'm afraid I did worse than merely turn him..."
Pete stilled as images and conversation began flowing into his mind.

“Well done Brendon, thank you for inflicting as little damage to him as possible.”
“Anything for you Master William,” replied Brendon. “He wasn’t that hard to find, he was in the area that Pete said he would be in.”
Andrew groaned softly as he opened his blurry eyes, blinking a couple of times to get them to focus on the two males that stood not too far away from him. “Where…” He groaned as the throbbing in his head worsened.
“Hush now, young Andrew,” purred William. “You took a nasty bump to the head, but it could have been worse. You’re in my home, where myself and my coven live. Would you like the headache to go away?”
Giving a weak nod, Andrew winced at the pain that the motion had caused. As the pain in his head evaporated, he turned his attention to the one that had obviously brought him to this place, and then to the one that was looking at him with quizzical eyes. “Who are you? What the Hell do you want with me?” He growled.
“Such anger,” William “tsk-ed” as he sat on the edge of the bed that Andrew was laying on. “There is no need for anger, not at us anyway.”
“Then who?” Andrew snapped, earning a chuckle from the one called Brendon. “Who should I blame for being in your home?”
“Your brother.”
“I don’t have a brother,” he replied, looking away from the two vampires.
“Just because you disown him, and kick him out of your families home with a death threat doesn’t mean that Pete is no longer related to you by blood,” William mused as he looked to Brendon. “Go stand outside the door while I tell him plan has unfolded for him over the past week.”
“Yes, Master William,” Brendon said as he bowed briefly and exited the room.
“How did you know about Pete and I?“ William looked at Andrew, who studied him with wary eyes. “What plan are you talking about?” Andrew questioned, frowning as William shook his head.
“I’m the one who attacked your brother,” William stated as he got comfortable, now facing Andrew, who was sitting up against the headboard to look at him better. He tucked a leg under the other and leaned against the bed post at his corner. “Unfortunately as I attacked him, ready to make him one of my…pets…a rival of mine attacked my hunting party and myself and I was forced to let your brother escape while I defended myself. You see, the vampire that bites you can form a mental link with you, if he or she fully turns you. As it stands with your brother, I can’t track him like I can my other pets simply because he hasn’t had anything to drink, if you get what I mean.”
“What does this have to do with you knowing what happened, and me being in your home?” Andrew snapped.
“Impatient, aren’t we?” William sniffed as he raised a brow at the young Wentz. “After your spat, your brother sought me out, needing a home, needing somewhere to go… But also, he wanted payback. He wanted you to suffer for what you had done to him.”
“I’ve suffered enough!” Andrew exclaimed, his body going rigid. “He knows how bad I suffered, why would he do this to me!?”
“I only took his physical life… You took away everything else, Andrew. So, I gave him a home to go to, I got him settled to where he’ll be safe for the rest of his days. But you… So he wouldn’t have to live a life of servitude, and so that he wouldn’t have to run for the rest of his life, he traded you.”
“Wh…What did you say?”
“You’re here to become one of my pets, one of my slaves,” William answered, letting his eyes roam over the younger male. “Though, I’m not so sure you would fit in with my Boys… You see, I like them smaller, boney, with a sense of style. You have none of those. You wouldn’t turn me on, so I think I’ll use you for something else.”
“I’m not staying here.”
“if you leave I’ll kill you, or have you killed,” William explained. “There is no human that enters my home alive and leaves in the same condition. Especially not those promised to me, Andrew, be it by themselves or by someone else. You are mine now, like it or not. I can easily make you want me if I wanted to Andrew, being a vampire does have that leverage.”
“If you turn me I’ll kill myself,” Andrew warned, his eyes darkening slightly. “I refuse to be one of your kind, your kind took the love of my life from me.”
William gave a soft sigh. “You poor creature,” he mused, smiling a little. “You honestly believe you have a choice in this matter.”

"Pete...didn't...?"
William smirked as he gave a slow shake of his head. "To this very day, Andrew, he has no clue that you have ever been in my possession. I just told you that to make you suffer."
"Then...how..." He put his head in his hands and whimpered softly at how confused he was becoming. "Please just tell me the truth? I can't handle anymore games, William."
"Jason is where it all began," he stated, his tone telling Andrew that William believed he should have known. "He was my lover, long before you ever met him."
"I don't believe you," Andrew replied as he lowered his hands to his side and shook his head. "Stop fucking lying to-"
"You met him at your job, at some stupid, rundown book store," William spat out, cutting off Andrew's obvious oncoming rant. "He basically had to fucking stalk you to get you to say yes to him. You said the reason you didn't want to was because you refused to date customers; keeping business and pleasure as far apart as possible. He finally won you over when some ass of a customer put his hands on you and he played the part of a pissed off boyfriend. He called you his Andy-roo because of how much you bounce around when you're overly excited."
"Shut up," Andrew growled out, clenching his hands into tight fists.
"When he met your family for the first time, your mother pulled him into the kitchen, where she told him to take very good care of her baby. When he told you about this transaction later, when you both returned to his apartment, he let you snuggle into his arms where he told you that he loved you for the first-"
"I said shut up!" Andrew screamed as he picked up the gun and aimed it at William. "What does he have to do with what's going on!?"
"He told me it was over, because of you," he answered, narrowing his eyes at Andrew. "He was with me the whole time, making love to me every night that he wasn't with you. One day he up and tells me that he wanted to break it off to give you the love you fully deserved. He felt horrible that he was cheating on you, even though it was me being cheated on. He thought you, not me, deserved the world."
"He was loyal to me," Andrew growled through clenched teeth, his eyes going black as his rage fully consumed him. "He was with only me the whole time."
"Then how else would I know about the small cluster of freckles that was on his right hip bone?" William snapped/. "How would I know how much he loved to have his hair played with? How would I know how his hands felt on my skin? Soft palms, calloused fingers sound familiar?" /He sneered. "How would I know about how good he felt, moving inside of me?"
"He was never inside of you! You only know those things because you're reading my fucking mind," Andrew replied. "I'm not buying a damn bit of it you piece of shit."
"He wanted to end it, wanted to leave my home to live out the rest of your time with you, altering his appearance to age with you as you aged, so you wouldn't be confused as to why your lover never seemed to age. Maybe one day show his true form to give you the option of living out eternity with him." His sneer turned into a smirk. "He told me of your brother, how close you two were, and that is when I went for Peter. I wanted to hurt you since you had hurt me-"
"Even if what you're saying is true, I didn't even know you were alive!" Andrew exclaimed, pulling back the hammer on the gun. "Why would you hurt me for someone I had no clue of!?"
"Because hurting you would hurt him! Why don't you get it!?"
Andrew stared at William for a moment, the silence heavy between them before he finally spoke again. "Did you kill him?"
"He betrayed me by taking you as his lover," William growled, his eyes narrowing once more at Andrew. "He betrayed me so I betrayed him. I hired a hunter to bring him down, and then when he was laying on the ground, weakened by the gun shot wound, I drained him. I drained him past the point of safe return and left him there for the humans to find. As long as I left them something to find, then you could find out about his death."
"How could you do that to him if you loved him? You're immortal, you could have picked anyone else."
"Why did you want him?" He questioned. "He was perfect in every way, Andrew. Don't ask me such stupid questions. There will never be anyone like Jason was and you were taking him from me."
"As far as I knew he was unattached when he was coming on to me," Andrew replied. "So you killed him, and still went after Pete and I?"
"I let him know what I was going to do, as I drained him," William answered. "But by then he was too weak from the wound to try to get to you to warn you. I'm just keeping my word."
"But then why are you still doing all of this?" Andrew questioned. "You've hurt us both, what more do you want from all of this?"
William smirked as he slipped into Andrew's mind, taking control of his body, but not his mind. "I wanted you to die, in misery," he answered as he made Andrew put the gun to his own head, letting him be fully aware of what was happening, but be unable to do anything to stop what was happening. "Jason is gone, Tom is gone, you'll be gone soon, and then I'll be killing your brother. I'll have carried out every bit of the revenge I had planned for you both."
"What did Tom have to do with anything?" Andrew questioned.
"He was supposed to use you, break you, hurt you, anything but make you happy," William answered. "If he had made you miserable, he would still be alive, but merely mourning your death." He smiled sweetly. "I'll give your brother your regards," /he said before he made Andrew's finger pull the trigger.

Pete trembled in Gabe's arms as he stared at William, who looked ashamed as the thought stream stopped flowing. "You're sick," he growled out, even his voice trembled as he fought for the control to speak. "You fucking tortured him in ways that you never even tortured me. All because of some fucking guy who saw my brother was better than you. I'm going to kill you William, no matter what these people have to say about it."
Before Gabe could stop him, Pete broke loose and grabbed a gun from the nearest guard, aimed at William, and pulled the trigger.
