In 2023, it's a race for everyone. At every corner,there's a Breeder, a Bred, or one lucky enough to not be caught. My parents are Breeders. They work under Marshall's Bredding Company, the ones who started it all. They go out at night to find lost ones or kids out past curfew to take to the Breedery. There, they will be distributed. Some get lucky and are young enough to be let go, but others, the unlucky ones, are sent into the Slave Houses.

To avoid this, parents and neighbors do anything to keep each other safe. When my parents go out at night, they lock all the doors and board up the windows so I can't get out, and no one can get it. It seems like they would do anything for me...
