Ray is driving well over the speed limit but I couldn't give two fucks. I get my cell phone out and call Mikey.
"Hello?" He answers.
"Mikey its Frank... Spencers got Gerard." I say. I hear a gasp on the other end.
"Come and get me now!" He says.
"What did you think I was calling you for!" I snap. There is silence. "Sorry Mikes I'm just freaking out right now. We'll get you at your house but it will take a while." I say.
"Ok. I'll try and keep Spencer from hurting him. But I won't let on that I know." He says. I sigh knowing I can trust him.
"Thanks just be careful. Ok?" I reply.
"Don't worry about me just hurry and get your ass here." He replies hanging up. I sigh and run a hand through my hair.
"How long till we hit Jersey?" I ask Ray. He looks at me for a second then looks away.
"Probably tomorrow." He says grimly. I grunt at the thought of leaving Gerard so long. I take the guitar pick necklace between my fingers and silently pray he will be ok for one more day.
I bring my knees to my chest. I turn on the radio and hear a familiar song.
"...Your eyes are the size of the moon..." Brendon Urie sings. I quickly turn the radio off again and groan. Fuck my life! That mother fucker better not lay a finger on Gee. I'm going to kill the bastard. I picture Spencer lying on the ground. I am above him, knife in hand. I smile an evil smile and stab him repeatedly. Stab. Stab. Stab. Stab.

"Frank calm down." Ray says. I realise I have been holding my breath and exhale. I punch the dashboard. Holding my head in my hands I cry angry tears. How could everything be so perfect one minute and then be so fucking shit the next.
I feel the car stop and a comforting hand on my back. I look at Ray with tears running down my face.
"I can't lose him Ray. I just can't." I say
"I know but you won't. I promise you I will never let that happen." He replies. I give a weak smile and wipe away my tears. Ray starts the car again and we head for Jersey.
