I sat in the kitchen staring at my home economics assignment, "I'll never remember any of this." I sighed. Robert came shuffling in as he sipped a brown liquid from a glass, "What's wrong, Mona?" He asked with a smile. "Nothing." I grumbled and gathered my things from the table. "Mona, will you ever start treating me like a friend? I've known you for a while now and you still feel like we're strangers." He said blocking the exit to the kitchen. I looked up at him, "I don't know." I replied. He pulled my assignment paper out of my hand, "Gimme that back!" I yelled as I tried to take it back. "Not until you stop acting like a square." He said as he held it over his head. "I'm not a square!" I hollered as I jumped up to take my paper back. "Are you going to stop being so mean?" He asked teasingly. "Yes." I sighed. "Do you promise?" "Yes... I promise." He read the paper then handed it to me, "I wanna help you do this." "No." I replied. "You sai you'd be nice." He said. "Fine." I sighed in defeat.
