It was a little while later and I couldn't sleep. The troubles of the day were still rolling around in my head. Peter had fallen asleep after our love making and I still wasn't tired. I sat up and decided to go downstairs. Before leaving the room I tried to turn on the lights. No luck. I lit a candle and wandered down to the kitchen. Mike was at the table sipping something from a black mug, "Hey you." He said groggily, "What are you doin' up?' "Can't sleep." I said as I sat in the chair across from him. "Wanna talk about?" He asked as he reached a hand across the table to gently touch mine. "Not really." I sighed. "Well I won't pressure you... but if you ever feel like talking, I'm here anytime." He said with a reassuring smile. "I know." I said with a nod. The thing problem wasn't that I didn't want to talk about it. I wanted to but I didn't know how to. "It's hard having all these responsiblities." I blurted out. "I know... well I don't know but I understand." Mike said softly.
