"S-stefan?" Ashley croaked as he opened his eyes again.

He was laying in a bright white room, but had no recollection of how he had got there.

"Ash! You're awake!" Dru shouted, jumping up from his seat by Ashley's bed.

"Dru! What are you doing here? What happened?" Ashley asked, struggling to remember the details.

"Mate, you were in a car crash! You've been in a coma for three weeks" Dru sighed, giving Ash a hug.

"Oh my God, Stefan must of been so worried! Where is he?" Ashley queried, scanning the room for the curly-haired boy.

"Ashley, I'm so sorry. He didn't make it" Dru whispered, tears running down his face.

"Didn't make what?" Ashley asked, furrowing his eyebrows.

"Mate, he's dead" Dru said bluntly, placing a hand on Ashley's shoulder.

"No! You're lying! He's not dead! He can't be dead!" Ashley stuttered, not wanting to believe it.

Dru didn't say anything, just leant down to hug Ashley.

"Fuck off. I don't need you, I don't need anyone" he said, pushing Dru away.

After Dru left he curled up into a ball and cried himself to sleep.
