you know, i'm starting to reckognize your style - like, even if i didn't know the author, i could still probably tell the poem was yours because of the language :D
anyways, thanks for this! (: i really, really liked it... especially the third verse. it was amazing.Author's response
That is a compliment I will be remembering :) Thank you very much :DEarth revisited

If you're not going to do anything worthwhile while you're here then why would you be remembered when you're gone?
I like it. (Again, I wonder if I'm understanding these poems or my brain is just giving me ridiculously morbid messages from them...)

Well, that's why we have art, aye? :)
(Don't worry about that. Poetry isn't supposed to be a source of concrete information, then it'd been called news... It's about letting every person interpret and unleash their own mind.)
And thank you so much, it's nice to hear you liked it :)Earth revisited

I also found an even darker message in that I can't ignore. That's what scares humans the most isn't it? Being forgotten first and foremost but I've pondered it and I think atheists with their "you rot in the ground when you're dead" mentality are some brave sons of bitches.
It's weird you know, that there might be nothing on the other side. I mean, you'd be dead obviously so you wouldn't know the difference but it still terrifies people. I don't understand it myself actually, it's hard to explain but I hope you know what I'm rambling about Cecilia.
Oh, you and your thought provoking poems... they aren't exactly good for a chick who is doped out on antibiotics for bronchitis.

I just have to say: You and your thought provoking reviews! I could have rambled on forever about how I don't feel being an atheist makes me any braver than anyone else, because it's just the way I was raised and that's it, but such a massive thing wouldn't have been worth posting in a reply... :P (I might come back to you on the subject sometime, though)
Though, thank you for your compliments and get well soon!
