Who Can Fly?

Okay. I am going to say here and now that you are an amazing writer. Your poetry and lyrics and stuff blow my mind.
Last year in English class, I read this poem in my textbook called The Red Wheelbarrow. It's supposed to contain a bunch of symbolism and metaphors, but at the time, I could only think, this is so pointless. Yes. The wheelbarrow fed the chickens.
Then I read YOUR poetry and I can't believe that someone can be this good at writing. That should be YOUR poem going in the textbooks! (It sure would have made English more fun...)
I don't know what to say anymore! I love your writing! Never stop! GOD, SOMEONE JUST GIVE THIS GIRL ALL THE COOKIESAuthor's response
Thank you very, very much; you have no idea how much it means to me to know that someone likes my work!
My English is like that. Like there always has to be a deep, metaphorical reason for a chair being blue instead of it just meaning that the chair was fucking blue. If you get what I mean.
Aw, thanks! It would be kind of awesome to have kids studying my stuff. But then I'd feel evil for being the cause of their suffering. ;)
Thank you very much for leaving such a nice review and yes; ALL THE COOKIES!!!! :D :D :DWho Can Fly?

Oh god. I'd forgotten what an amazing poet you are. That was so fucking good. I seriously have goosebumps after reading it- the message was flawless; to begin with so sad and broken, and then pulling through to be so powerful- so inspirational. I particularly loved this bit 'Too low to fly?
Too small to reach the sky?' And your repetition. You gave something so hopeless power from the most broken, and god, that's talent. Your poems always blow my mind.
