I said tearful goodbyes to Slash, Steven, Duff, and Izzy and then went on a plane back to Indiana that day. Once I got there, I moved back in with my parents, decided to get a G.E.D.. There was obviously still a gaping hole in my heart...a part of me wasn't there, my other half wasn't there. I was incomplete. I wouldn't see Axl again until 1996, when Guns n Roses had fallen apart, so had Axl. I left Bon with my parents and stayed with Axl in his house for months upon months...it felt so right, so relieving. We stayed together for another wonderful 10 years, until 2006, when we stopped having a boyfriend/girlfriend relationship, but kept our friendship thoroughly intact. I now work alongside Axl, sometimes as a roadie, sometimes as a lighting manager, sometimes as a producer, sometimes as a publicist, sometimes as the person who makes him look good to the public, sometimes as a muse. And as long as I was with Axl, I couldn't think of any better way to spend my time.
