Ch 26 I'm slipping out of this one.
Josh's POV
I look at Ian, shaking. Matt is looking shocked, as is Mike.
"Why didn't you tell anyone?" Matt whispers.
"It's really fucking complicated....." I sigh. I'm trying to keep my composure. Its not working though. I have tears in my eyes. I'm shaking so much right now. Matt looks at me.
"How do they not know?"
"I don't know." I whisper.
Matt looks at me with an expression, that says "you're gonna need help man".
"B-but I'm getting help guys...." I say, smiling weakly.
Matt looks at me, "I know Josh."
They look at me, scared.
"Wh-why are you guys looking at me like that?" I say.
"Joshua," a nurse steps in. "You have a phone call sweetie."
I look at my friends.
"I gotta go, sorry guys." I say as I walk out.
The nurse hands me the phone.
"Hello?" I say, trying to keep my composure.
"Joshua? Is that you?" A excited voice says. It's mom.
"Uh, yeah. It's me mom."
"How are you?"
"I hate it here! I wanna go home!" I am losing it.
"Joshua, you're doing great. You only have a month left. You can do this!"
"N-no mom, I cant do this!" I am sobbing into the phone.
"Why?"
"I'm bulimic...." I whisper barely audible. I'm praying she doesn't hear me.
"Joshua, listen. You're perfect just the way you are. You're getting help now. You're not alone. But, why are you purging?"
"I'm in fucking love with my best friend...." I choke out, as I slide down the wall and begin to sob.
