chapter 3

"I Love you"
I woke up screaming and crying.
I miss Party.
But,at least he is still alive.
Kobra came running into my room.
Great,looks like I woke him up.

"You alright?"He asks,sitting on my bed.
He wipes a bit of my dark brown hair away from my eyes and he spots the tears
streaming down my face.He then pulls me into a hug.

"I miss him,Kobra.It's all my fault.I should have been watching Grace"I let my tears
fall onto his leather jacket.
"Shh,ok?Look I know you miss him.I do too.We all do.But it wasn't your fault."
Kobra shushes me,rocking me back to sleep.

"How long has she been asleep?"I hear a soft voice ask.
"Not long.She missed you,you know"I hear another voice reply
"It was just a few cuts and bruises"I hear the first voice joke.
"A few weeks in Battery City hospital for a few cuts and bruises?"The second voice asks,teasingly.
"Whatever,Kobra"The first voice remarks and I hear footsteps decend down the hall and the creak of a chair as someone sits down.
I slowly open my eyes and see those hazel eyes and bright red hair.
He's home.
"Morning,sleepyhead"I hear Party tease as he gets up from the chair and sits on my bed.
I sit up with a smile and kiss him.
He pulls away and says the same exact words he had said before he went into hospital..
I love you
And my reply?
I love you,too
And in the early light of the day,We kiss..
