Chapter three
OF THE EDGE


Put Rose in the guest room and lock the door said Mikus
So the guards brought Rose to her bedroom there was a Queen sized bed with a canopy a bright pink rug and a wooden wardrobe . On the bed there were four dresses one looked like a wedding dress it was a startling white she looked closer and saw it was made of ice diamonds the dress next to it was a purple it looked like a work dress she knew at once that it was from the realm of darkness the third looked like an everyday sort of dress it was fiery red she put her hand on it only to discover it was surprisingly warm and realized it must have been woven with flames the last dress looked like an ball gown it was a silver and very shiny it was also the most beautiful of them all she ran her hand over it was made of the tiniest silver threads that you could ever imagine I seems like I have a dress from each realm I am wearing a earth dress and here on the bed is a magic dress a fire dress and darkness dress and a ice dress
Then she looked in the wardrobe and there was a black funeral dress in it this must be from the realm I am in . the one she was wearing was a green gardening dress which was most common seen on young girls in the earth realm.
She looked around some more and saw a green velvet Armchair with patterns of Roses on it she looked at her bed and saw her pillow was very lumpy she looked beneath it she found a green night

patterns of plants and birds on it . She looked out the window it was getting dark so she put on her night
dress it fit perfectly it was also softer then velvet she got into her bed and pulled up the covers the bed was as soft as swan feathers in fact she thought it might be made of swan feathers she fell asleep dreaming sweet dreams . Meanwhile Jaecko had just looked up and there was the squadron Stella was tied up so was flametongue Lila was also . Some men had ran forward and tied up Briar
Jaecko pulled out his sword and ran at then men . one man not realizing what was happening fell to the ground dead his buddy started running but Jaecko chased him caught up with him and killed him . Until he was outnumbered and they tied up him too one of the men that looked like he was probably the leader pulled a black amulet out of his pocket Stella shut her eyes Jaecko didn't know why the man walked up to him and stuck it in front of his face he tried to look away but he couldn't he knew it was some sort of spell he also knew that Stella had a amulet just like it then everything went black quickly after Jaecko was blinded Briar was too she could see him very lightly because she was just squinting then they went to Lila and did the same then the man walked up to Stella tied her up then put a potion in her eyes to make then open then they put the amulet in front of her of course Stella knew that because she was born in the darkness realm she would be immune to the amulet but the guards did not know that so she made her eyes go black so they thought she was blinded then they threw all of them except flametongue into a big cart it felt like hours in the cart but Stella knew a counter curse for the amulet mosmothma she whispered hey said Jaecko I can see again so can I said Lila I thought I was dead said Briar stand still guys I have to do a spell so you look blinded but your really not . look at me do I looked blinded ? Yes they all said are you blinded asked Briar? No said Stella ok well here is the spell montomorse whispered Stella .quickly she opened the cart and jumped out. Follow me guys said Stella as Jaecko Briar and Lila jumped out behind her . Lets go hide in the woods until they leave said Lila are you guys listening she said because at that very moment the cart was stopping and Jaecko Stella and Briar were running into the forest quickly Lila followed them when the guards went back to grab them they weren't there
HEY yelled one guard they escaped search the forest search everywhere quickly a small handful of men ran into the forest and a another group of men ran in the other direction .
At that moment Briar tripped over a branch come over here yelled the leader I heard them yes sir yelled the handful of men and they ran into the forest there coming yelled Briar and Stella helped him up we must run out of the forest ! Said Jaecko in panic lets go that way said Briar pointing in the other direction as they ran out of the forest they realized where they were they were standing on the edge of the world ! At that moment the guards came out of the woods there they are said a guard and they chased them closer to the edge . I didn't know it would end this way said Briar falling off the edge of the world and all its all your fault said Lila its was your decision to come in this direction Stella dropped to her knees oh why couldn't the world be round moaned Stella
Which ones worse guards or edge ? Said Jaecko guards said Briar I agree said Stella and Lila meanwhile flametongue had untied him self and flown away until he went underneath the world and he just hovered there .
Well I am jumping said Stella same here said Lila me too said Jaecko then as the guards closed in they jumped all of them except Briar as the guards stepped forward Briar tumbled of the edge of the world . They were falling , falling through the air then suddenly they stopped falling Stella looked down flametongue she yelled as the dragon opened his mouth and let out a burst of fire happily he started flying back up but Jaecko yelled wait flametongue if we go up there they will know we survived we should wait until there are gone they waited one hour . Fametongue said Jaecko poke up your head and see if they are here he did that and there were no guards to be seen .meanwhile in Mikus's castle
If you haven't guessed Mikus is not really evil he has been hypnotized by Sotie said a guard to Rose he really does like you and he will kill you if he is still under the spell so how do you break the spell . Asked Rose, every night at eleven he walks to soties castle and by midnight hypnotizes him if he does not get hypnotized every night
He turns good and can not be hypnotized again . Well that's interesting said
Rose . Meanwhile on the dragon . well just put us on land said Jaecko then you can go back to the fire realm we will call you with our magic if we need you . As flametongue flew back to the fire realm they decided they would have to go through the forest following the path of course . After a little while they started talking about what they would do when they got to the edge of the forest . Briar had the idea that they could go through the ice realm but no one agreed to this idea . Then Jaecko came up with an idea why don't we go through the fire realm said Jaecko not because I live there but because it's the closest I have a great idea said Stella
Then we could pick up supplies there and travel through all the realms until we come across the evil realm I like that idea said Lila okay said Briar now lets go into the forest
















Chapter four
PIXIES

So they walked into the forest what's that noise said Briar
Your being paranoid said lila your being stupid said Briar
I am not stupid said lila oh yes you are said Briar no I am not
Yes you are no I am _______ STOP fighting you too roared Jaecko you do know you both are being very very immature said Stella eh fine then said Briar I guess we will stop for now
Lila I saw that said Stella as lila stuck her tongue out at Briar
Hey where are we said Lila I think we are lost
Great job said briar to Jaecko hey what are you blaming me for you are the one who was arguing with Lila if you hadn't we might have not been lost said Jaecko oh come on your all arguing again said Stella something just poked me said Lila I heard something again said briar I just saw something fly past said Stella oh now your all being paranoid said Jaecko then at that moment a little figure of a girl wearing a dress made out of leaves flew in front of them she had tiny little wings are you a fairy asked Stella yes answered the girl
I can show you the way out of the forest said the fairy please call me Katrina oh okay Katrina said Stella should we follow her whispered Stella to Jaecko yes Jaecko whispered back it would be wise to so they followed Katrina through the forest
After a little while the forest got thicker and thicker until they could barely see ahead of them Jaecko thought he heard someone fall probably Briar ( it actually was briar ) when briar got back up he decided to play a prank on Katrina in which he would sneak up behind her and grab her out of the air so he got ready to grab her and then he lunged and she got caught in his hand I told a lie she said what said Stella why did you say that because I am a pixie oh no she put her hand over mouth she was just trying to get us lost said briar why did you tell us now and not before asked lila because I am pixie and when pixies are caught they have to tell the truth but why did you make us get lost asked Jaecko my pets were hungry what are your pets asked briar now sounding scared arakoos said Katrina what is a arakoo asked Briar a man eating tree answered Katrina now briar was very frightened well they aren't here are they said Stella
Yes they are said Katrina then briar let her go she flew off among the trees . CRUNCH SMASH what was that asked briar it was her pet said lila
Where is it where is it moaned briar shut up would you said Stella it will hear us then it came out of the trees it was walking with its mouth open AHHH screamed briar as he took of into the trees
back in roses room the guard had just left her stomach was rumbling I am hungry she said at that moment three guards came in with her supper they were caring a platter in each hand so there was six platters in all
They set them down in front of her then they left she opened the first platter to find a salad oh my favourite she said she knew this platter was from the earth realm . The second platter had a roasted boar she had this dish once before at the fire realm the third platter held black fish she could tell it was from the darkness realm in the fourth one was potatoes the colour of silver she could tell instantly that it was from the magic realm the two platters left were dessert a brown cake from whatever realm she was in and ice cream from the ice realm .


















Chapter Five
ARAKOOS

So she sat down to enjoy her meal. mmmmm this is good she said as she finished the last of her dessert . then a sudden thought struck her mind what if Stella and Jaecko didn't know that Mikus was actually good they might harm him .
In the forest I think I like briars idea said lila and she took off after him I am going to yelled Jaecko don't forget me said Stella as she ran after them . The creatures surrounded them ( yes there was more !) now what do we do screamed lila I could maybe kill one said Jaecko grabbing his sword he rushed at a arakoo and attacked the sword sliced a arm off ( at least it looked like an arm ) the arakoo fought back throwing Jaecko off of him .Stella took out her dagger and rushed at another attacking arakoo she managed to pin its foot to the ground with her dagger . briar took out his sword and attacked another one he cut off one of its legs it fell to the ground as briar turned around to tell Jaecko that he had (nearly) killed one .in its last stroke of energy it stuck out its arm and tripped him another one grabbed him and smashed him a against tree ( the tree wasn't a arakoo ) he was knocked out cold. Jaecko toss me your dagger cried Stella okay he yelled and chucked it over but she didn't catch the dagger it landed point down in the arakoos arm it screamed with pain she was about to yank it out but it got its foot (the one with the dagger in it) out of the ground Stella was still holding on to the dagger he tried to shake her off but she held on AHHHHH I need help yelled Stella as she was violently thrown around in the air . An arakoo picked up Lila and threw her against another tree she was also knocked out cold . And Jaecko fighting wildly had killed five of the twenty ! Meanwhile back in the bedroom rose had eaten all of her dinner and she was thinking of a plan .she would climb out her window ( or try to that is ) then she would stop Mikus from being hypnotized and escape with him . She ran to her window it was barred so she had to use some plant magic
She put out her hands lysosome two vines shot out of each hand and started to bend and break the bars on the window
After a few minutes the work was done all the bars were broken in half she slipped through them .
Back in the forest . Two of the arakoos had grabbed briar and lila and dragged them back into the forest
Lila , Briar yelled Stella . Just then the dagger came unstuck from the arakoos foot she landed on the ground then the arakoos walked out of the clearing taking briar and lila with them quick stella we have to follow them said Jaecko I will follow the arakoo that has briar you follow the one that has lila said stella so they took off in each direction after a few minutes stella reached her destination in front of her was a huge rock the sound of a scratching noise like the sound of wood being rubbed together came from behind it she quickly peeked behind it there was the arakoo and he had a friend briar was tied up on the ground beside him the arakoos were talking in a strange language that was something like this
Parakeeta azakoo frane awawalk said the one who had taken briar nokazikee peense wasagooka said the other one
( what the first one really said was something like
I found an elf for dinner and the second one said hand it over ) . The arakoos kept fighting over the elf but stella didn't listen to the conversation anymore she was thinking of a way to get briar back . Hmmm what shall I do stella asked herself
Well I could create a distraction make the arakoos go find what the noise was and take off with briar that sounds like a good plan if it works so she got to work. She decided to creep around the rock and then she would use her wand to create a distraction maybe like a small animal of something she conjured up 200 termites they ran out from behind the rock and attacked the two arakoos . She saw how fast they were doing the job . So she came out from behind the rock and started untying Briar . A few minutes later she was done untying him . Realizing the termites were slacking off she grabbed Briar from the scruff of his collar ad ran as fast as she could with him dragging behind her . Now back to Rose
. If you remember she had just broken out of her room .
She was frightened because she had never seen the outside of mikus's castle she ran in the opposite direction of mikus's castle . She saw another castle in the horizon it looked bigger and more menacing . She thought she saw something that looked like a figure walking towards the bigger castle . After a few minutes of following the figure she realized it was a him and also it was Mikus ! She ran after him thinking oh my gosh that guard was right . Back with Jaecko . Jaecko was trying to think up a idea for a distraction . As Jaecko was trying to think up a idea he saw Lila wink he realized she must have just awoken while he was thinking . She was tied up by a rope so she couldn't escape by her self thought Jaecko I will have to go in and save her. Then the idea struck him he would make a distraction . Carko he cried and a huge phoenix flew out of no where. It swooped down towards the arakoos and started to attack. Jaecko ran in and grabbed Lila and took off in the other direction . He decided he should meet up with Stella because she had probably already rescued Briar . Jaecko was half way though the forest when he heard a swooshing sound out of no where a griffin flew up to him and spoke Your Majesty Jaecko permission to speak for I bring with me grave news what is it said Jaecko
A Host of spearmen , Rose and Mikus are fleeing . WHERE ! Roared Jaecko I do not know your majesty Jaecko , And with me I bring even more grave news what happened asked Jaecko ( if you didn't realize that griffin just called Jaecko your Majesty that means he is King And that's means that his parents would have to be ...... ) Your Parents Have Perished Mikus's spearmen raided the fire realms castle the King and Queen are dead and they also have kidnapped your sister
Ohhhhhh sighed Jaecko this is worse then I thought ( I know your wondering this who is Jaecko's sister you want to find out well keep reading )

JAECKO cried Stella " It's Been Hours " . I know said Jaecko did you get Briar ? Yes said Stella pulling him out from behind a tree I got Lila said Jaecko good said Stella Ohhhhhh my head moaned Briar . BRIAR !!!! Screamed Stella YOUR AWAKE don't yell Briar groaned my head is pounding . Here drink this Stella said pulling out a potion vile with black liquid in it , it will help your head Stella said Briar drank down the potion ohhhhhh that's better Briar said , I have news from the fire realm said Jaecko what is it asked Stella not good answered Jaecko both of my parents are dead What gasped Stella how ? Mikus's spearmen raided the castle_____ OH NO they also took my sister , Your Sister ? I didn't know you had a sister said Stella This is very bad said Stella yeah I know said Jaecko





















hmmmmm said Briar it's getting dark ( which it wasn't getting dark at all ) we should go get firewood , we Should Split up into
Teams Okay agreed Stella Jaecko and Lila ,Jaecko you go with Lila , I will go with Stella I am okay with that said Stella me too said Jaecko me three said Lila okay then said Briar that's what we will do . So they headed into the woods ( because they were in a clearing ) Jaecko and Lila were walking through the woods Hmmmmm Jaecko wondered out loud I wonder why Briar wanted to collect fire wood cause it's not even dark yet he even said it was dark , yeah I wondering that too said Lila huh did I say that out loud , um yeah you did oops said Jaecko whatever said Lila meanwhile with Briar and Stella hey said Briar What said Stella I was wondering what..... Said Stella I was wondering----You already said that said Stella I know said Briar I was wondering if your doing anything tonight No I am not said Stella why ? Well I was wondering if you wanted to hang out HUH ? Said Stella are you trying to ask me on a date um no um maybe um well okay yes , well then um said Stella sure , what said Briar you said yes , um yeah Briar are you deaf , one minute he said and walked off in the distance she heard a faint WOO HOO then Briar came back well said Stella maybe we should go see Jaecko and Lila . Meanwhile with Jaecko and Lila hmmmmm said Lila I was wondering about something what said Jaecko if you guys can turn me back to a human I was wondering if I could find Shetice and go on with are wedding again , sorry Lila but um um he's dead
WHAT ! Said Lila but my parents expect me to marry a noble well I am a noble and Briar is a noble but I think the guy you marry will want to know what you look like first , yeah I already thought of that well anyway what do you look like ? Well I have long blonde hair down my back and blue eyes and a cute little nose well that sounds um nice , do you even know how to turn me human said Lila um no said Jaecko well I do said Lila , all you have to do is sacrifice a friend on the rabbit's temple hmmmmm what about Briar what ! Just kidding he would make a good sacrifice but I don't think you should why ? Because I have my sources what ! Do you mean said Jaecko well I talked to Briar last night and he said he was going to ask Stella on a date WHAT ! Said Jaecko in disbelief he's crazy she'll never say yes well we will just have to find out meanwhile with Briar and Stella we better get back okay said Briar and they headed back Lila and Jaecko were already back after Stella went to go get some food Jaecko asked So how did it go ? SHE SAID YES !!!! Briar Shouted well good for you hmmmmm said Lila I better go see what is taking Stella , Jaecko quickly grabbed Briar and brought him behind a tree I got to tell you something what said Briar I don't know why but I think I am in love with whom said Briar in a sarcastic voice not Stella I presume no said Jaecko Lila what said Briar choking on his own saliva but she's a bunny ! That is so wrong man , okay Briar if we kill you or another friend then she will turn human , WHAT YOUR NOT KILLING ME HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO MARRY STELLA , What !!!! Said Jaecko you want to marry Stella oh come on she's never going to marry you and I mean NEVER!!!!! Oh
come on you cant kill me said Briar I am your friend
Meanwhile with Rose she had been walking for a long time now it was getting cold and she didn't exactly know what she was doing the only think she could think of was escape , so she decided to keep walking who knows what I should do oh boy do I hope that Jaecko and Stella get here soon I don't know what to do if they don't well she said I am tired seeing a tree she laid down beneath it when she woke up she was back in the room Mikus had gave her she ran to the window and realized that their was a magical grate blocking the entrance meanwhile, The same guard that had told Rose that Mikus was being hypnotized was walking down the corridor on his way to Rose's room at that moment Rose heard a knock on her door who's there ? She called out it's me she recognized the nice guards voice, can I come in Yes said Rose please do and he came through the door hmmm said Rose by the way what is your name ? it's Neil oh Hello Neil, by the way said Neil and you know all the other guards and not from any realms they don't even have magic but I do I am from the Magic realm where are you from ? Oh I am from the Earth realm I am princess of Earth realm, oh are you the older sibling in your family Yes Rose answered Briar is a year younger then me , then your not princess of the Earth realm your Queen WHAT !! Yeah that's right you heard me , but then my parents would have to dead, yeppers that's right . Oh my god ! She cried . Meanwhile in the clearing ok said Jaecko we will find someone else if we can find a new friend ! Perfect said Briar shhhhhhhhhh said Jaecko as Stella and Lila reentered the clearing , hmmmmm said Stella I think we should leave in the morning that's cool with me said Jaecko wait one minute I have to pee ! Whimpered Lila I'll be right back um okay said Jaecko I am hungry said Stella be right back fine with me said Briar ,hmmmmm said Jaecko I think the girls are up to something I am going to find out I, I'll follow them um said Briar I'll go with you no said Jaecko okay then said Briar I'll follow Stella you can follow Lila no way said Jaecko and he left the clearing .






















Chapter Seven
? DROWNED ?

Meanwhile with Stella and Lila you don't think the boy's will follow us do you said Stella no not really because I said I had to go pee said Lila okay then where are we going asked Stella oh it's this really cool waterfall I found it talks, talks? Yes said Lila and you can go behind it I found some crystals in it how much farther said Stella just around the bend......... there it is she said, the water was a sparkling clear blue and a faint glow seemed to be coming from it I don't here anything wait said Lila then she heard it

WHAT WAS THAT said Stella I have no idea said Lila cause last time it was telling me jokes the only thing they have in conmen was it was about a Boat a Stream and Dreams coming true what if it's a riddle she cried excitedly lets go behind the waterfall said Stella okay said Lila when they got to the back behind the waterfall they saw the crystals and they were GLOWING !!! Meanwhile with Jaecko he had just entered the area where the waterfall was when he heard the riddle maybe there is something behind the waterfall he thought so he went behind it and his mouth dropped with surprise huh ? What are you two doing here he said oh said Lila we are just here yes said Stella hmmmmm said Jaecko I think we should get Briar okay said Lila you go get him said Stella okay said Jaecko I will go get Briar so he walked off into the distance when he got back to the clearing Briar was sleeping wake up ! Called Jaecko no mumbled Briar sleepily YES YOU WILL OR I WILL ! Okay I am up said Briar quickly good said Jaecko what do need me for said Briar groggily Stella and Lila found a talking waterfall and glowing crystals , GLOWING crystals Briar asked uh yeah said Jaecko do you know what their for YES said Brair they are called Mermaid Stones said Briar what do they do exactly Said Jaecko if they are not glowing then she would like us to come and vist but if they are glowing she is in troble and needs some help who does said Jaecko the mermaid ! Said Briar oh said Jaecko then lets go and they headed off into the woods, as they were walking they went around the corner where the waterfall was hidden ,behind the waterfall and found Stella and Lila looking at a boat Stella was holding a crinkled up piece of paper whats that said Briar it's a map said Stella what where does it lead said Jaecko well it leads up close to the Ice Realm and Fire Realm pretty much in-between it looks like a lake let me see that sad Jaecko and he grabbed the map out of Stella's hands just as I thought he mumbled what did you think asked Stella it leads by where all the Qallupilluks live what are Qallupilluks aksed Lila well said Jaecko they live in under the ice and when it gets warmer they wake up hungry very hungry they brake the ice and look for mermaids and humans . We have to rescue her said Briar who said Stella we will explain on the way said Jaeck so they grabbed to boat and headed down the stream . Meanwhile with Neil, Neil had just left Rose's room and was headed back down to his own he was wishin he had a better room like Rose's but he didn't he had a stone room with no windows and a lousy bed beside his bed he had a small wooden table on his bed side table was a small bowl a Seers bowl he looked into it and said Show me Rose's brother he saw Briar's face rippling in the dish hmmmmm he said show me Stella, Stella's face was now in the bowl hmmmmm said Neil again I can see troble in Briar's eyes but I can also see romance for Stella ! Show me the trouble in the future he whispered to the bowl but he see anything exempt lots and lots of water and ice and some wired creature . On the river hmmmmm said Briar whats that in the water he leaned closer and fell in BRAIR screamed Stella, you idiot you shouldn't have leaned so close to the water Cried Lila he is soooo stupid moaned Jaecko . Briar couldn't see anything he couldn't breath eather uh oh he thought I must have fallen into the water then panic swept through him he couldn't swim ! He started panicing and tring as hard as he could to brake the serface but he kept sinking deeper and deeper his vison strated black buthe saw a dark blob coming towards him fast then nothing . Jaecko was in the water swimming towards Briar with all his streangth it looked as though he had fainted he tried to qiucken his pace with out sucsess then faint THUD Briar hit the bottom with a burst of speed Jaecko caught up with him and grabbed his arm and started pulling him towards the surface how long had he been under ? Around 2 minutes he needed air he sped towards the surface he could finally see light he head started spinning he couldn't stay under much longer but he was more worried for Briar finally as he broke the surface gasping for air JAECKO!!!! Cried Lila thank goodness your alive uh oh said Stella Briar doesn't look that good for the first time since being in the water Jaecko looked at Briar um yeah your right he doesn't look all that good wait a minute said Lila in horror as she hopped over to them is he breathing ? Jaecko checked NO ! he cried check his heart said Stella it's beating said Jaecko but Barely we have to get him breath he said as Stella pulled him into the boat um how ? How ? Said Lila I have a little thing called a life potion but I only hope I have enough try it said Lila ergantly lets hope it works said Jaecko so Stella took out a small potion vile with silver shinning liquid inside she dumped it into Briars mouth . He woke up gasping BRAIR screamed Stella and she hugged him what happened he gasped you fell in the water and Jaecko saved you thanks dude said Briar no problem said Jaecko but..... Just don't do it again please.












Chapter Eight
THE HUNT FOR A MERMAID

, yeah I will try not to drown again said Briar, OH LOOK ! Said Stella breaking the silance " I think I see a cave over there ! " anyone listening ??? I didn't think so UH GUYS !?!? Oh I am listening said Lila but the boys aren't I see said Stella and she turned around to face Briar , BRIAR ! She yelled waving her hand in front of his face he didn't even blink, Lila would do the same to Jaecko but she wasn't tall enough so Stella mde her way over to Jaecko she waved her hand in front ofJaecko's face with the same results NOTHING !!!!

Just then Stella realized what they were looking at !
A MERMAID ! Chained to a rock captered by the Qallupilluks who were swimming around the rock hissing at first Stella thought the boys were staring at the Qallupilluks but then she realized with NO help of Lila's that they were staring at.......................... THE MERMAID !!! Then she realized something else it was the look on both boy's faces it was like they were entranced enchantent ! WAIT ! Stella thought REMEMBER STELLA REMEMBER WHAT POWERS DO MERMAIDS HAVE !!!! " YES " she scremed out loud " what " said Lila I know what is happening to the boys said Stella MERMAIDS have to power to enctrance any MAN !!! By making them fall in LOVE with THEM !!! " HUFF " snarled Lila scowling at the mermaid and Stella had a sudden erge to jump up and down in front of Briar yelling these words : BRAIR BRIAR !! YOU LIKE ME NOT THE THE MERMAID ME NOT THE MERMAID ME NOT THE MEMAID ME !!!!!!! what am I thinking thought Stella shaking her head , I DON'T like Briar I LIKE BRI- NO I DO NOT !!!!! OK ADMIT STELLA said a voice in Stella's head YOU like BRIAR , NO YES No YES NO YES OK I ADMIT thought Stella I LIKE BRIAR THEIR YOU HAPPY said Stella out loud this time , WHAT did you just say asked Lila OH I said that OUT LOUD ! Lila nodded OK BACK TO THE MERMAID yelled Stella That STUPID mermaid she added under her breath. COVER THE BOY'S EARS screamed Stella Lila didn't need ask why she did and they were all of a sudden back to normal SMASH THOSE Qallupilluks !!!! SCREAMED STELLA at the Briar and Jaecko they saw three pieces of DRIFT BOARD floating Briar grabbed one and started SMACKING the Qallupilluks on their heads but Jaecko grabbed two and gave on the Stella , Stella looked confused but Jaecko need say only two simple words: SURF BOARD Stella instantly understood and she hopped on the board " LETS KICK IT " Stella yelled at the Qallupilluks SPLASH she surfed passed a Qallupilluks and took one leg off
the board and kicked the Qallupilluk on the head it was knocked unconscious she watched as it sunk to the depths of the water, meanwhile with Briar, Jaecko and Lila , Briar was still smacking the Qallupilluks on the head while Lila was cheering him one " LETS GO " yelled Jaecko and he also hopped on his homemade surf board and started slicing the Qallupilluks heads off . But then a green slimy hand took hold of Stella's foot it was pulling her off her board she kicked it with her foot it let go and floated off by this time Stella had reached the rock where the mermaid was chained with a slash of her dagger the chains fell to the sea she garbbed the maermaid and swam back to the boat then she placed the mermaid in the water, Jaecko had just reached the boat and he was the only one who realized something their was more drift board floating in the water but where was it coming from he snapped out of his thoughts long enough to hear the mermaid say GOOD BYE and with a poof she disappeared, THE BOAT screamed Jaecko because he had figured out where the boards were coming from THE BOAT IS SINKING !!! Sure enough the boat was slowly filling up with water it looked bad but then they made up something Jaecko would bring Lila and Stella Briar since two on them could not swim and two could but then a Qallupilluk stuck it's head up and tried to pull Lila off the boat DAMN YOU Qallupilluks yelled Lila as she hopped out of the way, but Jaecko had his own problem GET TO LAND ! Started screaming Jaecko just then he realized how far down was already he realized that their was water knees and it was rising steadily I know the bunny can't surf so I can carry her and Briar will just have to try maybe can paddle or something JAECKO yelled Stella what said Jaecko confused STOP MUTTERING TO YOUR SELF AND START TELLING US THE PLAN Stella yelled back OH YEAH RIGHT yelled Jaecko and he recited his plan to the other GREAT said Stella UM ok said Lila CRAP said Briar so they got on their boards Briar paddleing away furiously Jaecko and Stella ( Jaecko and Lila and Stella ) were zooming as fast as they could towards the mermaids cave.
Chapter Nine
INTO THE CAVE

As they paddled as fast as they could ( well Briar was the only one really paddleing ) towards the mermaids cave when they finally reached it they found out that they had forgotten something THE FALLS yelled Jaecko THE FALLS ARE COMING UP , NO !!! Cried Briar uh oh said Lila ohhhhhh CRAP said Stella This is not good said Briar Exsecially for YOU said Jaecko, just then an idea popped into Jaecko's head : I will grab onto the edge of the cave when we go off the falls Stella grab my foot Briar grab Stella's foot with only one hand and with the other grab Lila ' OK said Stella works for me said Lila GULP went Briar, just then the boat started to lurch THEY WERE GOING OVER THE FALLS ! FORM A CHAIN yelled Jaecko then the boat went fully over the falls they were falling falling then SLAP Jaecko's hand grabbed hold of the cave edge but their was one mistake Briar was where Stella should have been Lila where Briar should have been and Stella was at the bottom of the chain and if you don't realize this Lila's holding up Stella ( well more Stella holding onto Lila ) Jaecko looked down expecting to see Stella instead he came face to face with Briar BRAIR ! WHERES STELLA yelled Jaecko where Lila sould Be !!! Yelled Briar back uh oh said Jaecko Stella climb the chain he yelled K said Stella and Stella did as he said OK yelled Jaecko NOW THAT NOT AS MUCH WAIT ON LILA ( Stella scowled on him ) SO LILA DO YOU THINK YOU COULD CLIMB UP TO ! I AM A FRIGGEN BUNNY JAECKO I CAN'T CLIMB Then Jaecko realized that Stella wasn't following his plan ! She had found a rope that was in the back of the cave and tied it to a stalactmite then she tied the other end to her waist then she ran OFF the edge of the cave WHAT THE yelled Jaecko she bungeed down grabbed Lila and shot back up SWOOSH ( if you are wondering why they aren't all in water the reason is that the water is dropping rapidly ) she grabbed onto the leadge and managed to push Lila on the leadge then she pulled her self up now back to Jaecko and Briar who were still hanging STELLA ! Yelled Jaecko and he took on hand of the ledge Stella and Lila knew what to do they ran to Jaecko and both tried to grab his hand ( though only Stella sucseded ) and they pulled up Jaecko with Briar but what they had not noticed was that Briar was not holding on to Jaecko's foot anymore he had LET GO but....... He had grabbed onto an old root hanging off the side of the cave OK BRIAR ! Said Jaecko Lets GET OUT OF HERE ! He turned around Briarw asn't there ! BRIAR ! Yelled Jaecko he looked over the side STILL HANGING HERE said Briar angerly Stella untied the rope and tossed it down to him Briar climbed up WHEW said Briar at that moment Jaecko noticed their was a secret passage way in the back of the cave ! They walked as fast as they could towards the tunnel and stopped when they reached the enctrance " well " said Briar we better go in because we cant go out the way we came. So they walked into the darkness of the cave ! " Who has a light " asked Briar " me " said Lila " huh ? " asked Stella " why would you have a light "
