chapter 2
Sadie's P.O.V

I got back to the apartment I shared with my sister.
She was in hospital,because of her illness.
my Mom was with her.
She never really paid attention to me.

As soon as I got back home,I looked at the clock.
I was meeting Gee at 7pm.
It was 3pm now.
I walked to the bathroom and removed my clothesas I steped into the shower.
About 10 minuites later,I got out and put on my dressing gown.
I got out my black hair dye and put it into my hair.
I then applied my black eyeliner and bright red lipstick.
I smiled.
I looked perfect.
I then walked towards my room to get dressed.

At 6:30pm I was standing infront of the hallway mirror.
I had on a black vest with a deep red waist coat and skinny jeans.
On my feet was black converses.
I looked good.
Perfect for Gee.
I looked at the clock.
I had 10 minites.
I lookedaround the apartment one last time before heading out the door,carrying my rucksack.

At the coffee shop,Gee was waiting for me.
"Hey,Gee!"I say as I walk towards him.
He pulled me into a tight hug and buried his face into my hair.
"I missed you"He says in a muffled voice.
"I've only been gone for 3 hours!"I point out with a smile.
"But that was too long"He smiles back,taking my hand and entwining his fingers into mine.
"Ready?"He asks.
"Yep"I reply back.
"Then let's go!"He smiles and leads me onto the bus.
I see other people sat there.
"Guys,this is Sadie.We are um..kinda dating"He smiles shyly
"Hey we are the band"A boy with hundreds of tattoos says.
"That there is Frank."Gee points out.
"I'm Mikey"A boy with blondish hair says before leaving the room without a sound.
"He's my brother.We're kind of at a rough patch right now"Gee says.
"I'm Ray.Good to meet ya,Sadie"The afro guy says,giving me a hi-five.
"Yeah,Ray's super friendly"Gee says with a smile.
"I'm Bob"A man with a lip peirceing says.
"He joined the band about 2 months ago after our last drummer,Matt,stole stuff from us."Gee says.
"Oh.Well,I guess I'm part of the band now I guess."I smile.
"Yeah.Our cheerleader."Frank smiles.
"I'm gonna take Sadie to my room ok guys?"Gee says.
"Have fun"Frank smiles as Gee leads me down to the back of bus.
Gee sits me on the double bed.
"So,we're gonna have sex now aren't we?"I ask.
"If you wanna"Gee replys with a smile.
"Just come here"I smile as I pull him towards me and we make out.
I try to take his shirt off but he stops me.
"You better not"He whispers.
"Why?"I ask.
He sighs,then takes off his shirt.
I stare at his pale white chest that holds a thousand tiny cuts,scars and bruises.
"Gee..?Why?"I breathe with sadness
"Tell her Gee.Tell her what you told us"Mikey says in the doorway.
"Tell me what?"I ask.
Gee sighs deeply then tells me the truth.

"I'm sorry"Gee apologizes.
"It'll be okay,baby.I promise"I say as I put my arm around him and put my head on his shoulder.
"I have a secret too"I say as I roll up my jacket sleeve to reveal the same thing as Gee.Self-harm.
Gee grabs my arm to get a closer look at my damage.
"Why the fuckdid you do this to yourself?!"He asks,a slight raise in his voice.
I then tell him my story.

Ok.The truth is I got bullied.It all started in art class in my junior high.
We were doing sculptures and mine looked shit.I'm telling the truth.
So anyways I was looking at my rubbish work,then looked at everybody else's.
Theirs looked much better than mine.
I heard a small voice in my head.
It was telling me to grab the scissors beside me and take the pain away.
So I did it.
Something I now really regret.
For weeks after,I got called the meanest of names and comments went around
Such as 'Oh! look this little emo wants to kill herself'
I cried about it for days.
I skipped school a lot because I couldn't bear it.
In the summer,it stopped.
But I was scared It would happen again so I tried to drown myself.
But I couldn't do it because my younger couzins were there with me,and the last thing I'd want them to see is my lifeless body.
So I cut again.
But my family found out.
I promised to never do it again.
But I'm not good at promises.
So I did it 3 more times.And I haven't since.

Tears welled into my eyes as I told Gee my story.
After I'd said the final word,Gee pulled me into a hug as I cried.
"Never again ok?Never."He said as he placed his chin on the top of my head.
"Never again."I promised as I looked into his hazel eyes.
Gee wiped away my stray tears.
"Shh ok?You have me now.I'll keep you safe.You keep me safe.You're my angel."He reassures.
I nod weakly as Gee lifts my chin up slightly with his index finger and kisses me softly,but deeply.
"Do you trust me?"I say as I pull away.
"Forever"He smiles as he takes off his shirt.

Ok,just for clarification.
I'm actually british but since Gee met my character in this story in NYC I figured I'd be american.
Also,my character's self harm story is actually my self harm story.It actually happened to me not long ago,last year in school actually.
Thanks to MCR,I'm no longer in that state.
