I went to turn around and pretend that I didn't see him when I tripped over a ball. Draco rushed out to catch me. My breathing was heavy, as his dark gray eyes looked me over.

"Jeez Granger I thought I told you to be careful."

My heart was pounding in my chest. It felt so good to be held by him... so right. Wait. Stop I can't be thinking this about Malfoy can I? His gray eyes looked over me making sure I wasn't hurt before he held me up straight.

"I'm fine Malfoy thank you." I said straightening my shirt. I walked over to the ball machine and turned it off.

"So what were you doing anyway?" Malfoy asked.
"Tennis. It's a muggle sport I play with my friends during the summer. You wouldn't get it." My words were coming out rushed. I was still dazed by the way I felt in his arms.

Malfoy smirked. " Well Mom and Mrs. Granger want you back at the house to discuss something. I'll meet you up there if you think you can make it with out hurting your self."

I looked into his eyes and was about to say something when I felt my legs melt at the sight of that smirk. What in the world was going on?

I tried to walk a few steps but it didn't work I almost fell over but Malfoy was there to catch me again. He walked me to the changing rooms so I could change back into dinner clothes.

"I'm going to wait out here. Yell if you think you're going to fall again." He said as he helped me through the door. I glared at him.
He smirked at me and I hurried into the changing room before I melted again.

Dinner was a horrid affair. My parents and my soon to be in-law's where holding a mindless conversation. Malfoy was eating looking deep in thought and I was playing with my food.

Suddenly every one grew quiet. I looked up and I noticed my mother was looking at me. I shot her a look so that she would repeat what she had just said.

"As I was saying dear, don't you think you should go pack? You will be leaving for Malfoy Manor tonight." My mother looked at me sweetly.

I wanted to throw up my food right then. Did you just say what I thought she said? Moving in with the Malfoy's. Tonight? Was this nightmare day never going to end?

I just nodded my head and started to pick up my plate and take it to the kitchen.

"Oh that's ok Hermione, I'll get it later." My mother said. She gave me what I think was suppose to be an encouraging smile.

I went up stairs in my room and pulled out some boxes out of my closet that I had there for when I moved out next summer. I was taking my clothes and putting them in the boxes when there was a knock on my door.

"Come in!" I yelled from in my closet.

"Hello Hermione, It's Narcissa. I thought you might want some help. I dear say Lucius is getting tired and we really should be getting back." She looked at me and I nodded at her. With a flick of her wand all of my stuff was packed in boxes.
A sudden house elf appeared.
"Where is my mistress wanting these to be put?" The elf squeaked.

"I would like them put in Draco's and Hermione's new room. Make sure everything is put away neatly and Hermione can easily get to everything." Mrs. Malfoy said.

The elf gave a little bow and with a snap of his fingers he was gone. All of my stuff went with him. Narcissa smiled at me.

"Well we best be going dear. Since you haven't passed your apperation test yet we had to take the family car and it's quite a long drive. I hope you don't mind." She smiled at me sweetly again and I returned it.

I went down stairs with her and said good-bye to my parents. I grabbed my jacket and purse and headed out to the car with the Malfoy's. While we were driving I was staring out the window. What were my friends going to think of me marring Malfoy? Harry would probably want to kill Draco and Ron would definitely go berserk. Ginny would hopefully understand. I let out a sigh and rested my head against my shoulder. This was defiantly going to be a long year.
