There's actually no deeper meaning here. Tumblr died in canon, and I needed to reference it.
I also needed to get across that as a Rage player, HSG is actually constantly fighting with himself, and what happens when he loses.
FFN is a tool. That's why he's not mad.

MSPAF ignored the coin toss, obviously. But why? He's already said that she's not entirely important in the timeline. So why would he save her?
Because he likes having her around?
And read up on some of the rules that I've set up, because the next chapter relies pretty heavily on them.
