No, its not.Author's response
She just wants me to have a good life, and because of all of the things I haven't told her have happened to me, I'm failing school. My exams are in a montha dn I don't know anything that I'm supposed to know.
I'm just going to disappoint her even more.A Promise Made To Be Broken?

Sweets, I'm a parents too, and even though my daughter is MUCH younger, anything she does wrong is pretty much my fault.Author's response
But that's because she's younger.
I'm supposed to be a really smart person (I go to an all girls school for smart kids) but my grades are terrible. Everyone else has A* and I have Cs and a few Bs. It's my fault for being so useless.A Promise Made To Be Broken?

Cs and Bs aren't bad. And, in the long run, grades don't matter.Author's response
Everyone keeps telling me how they expect more from me.
Grades do, though.A Promise Made To Be Broken?

My parents STILL tell me that.
How? In 10 years nobody's gonna care what grades you got. Grades are a poor representation of intelligence and work ethic.Author's response
My family expect me to go to University. If I went to one though, I;d want to go to acting school.
Yeah... I guess. But if the grades are terrible, then no one would ever think aboiut employing me.A Promise Made To Be Broken?

Then go to acting school.
That's not true. Most jobs go for personality and work ethic, and grades don't reflect either.Author's response
But my family ahve already told me to "stop being so unrealistic" and "study something real to get a real job"
I'm probably unemployable anyway. I'd probably have a panic attack during an interview or something.A Promise Made To Be Broken?

Acting is a real job. More of a job than any of the ones I've done.
They tend to be really understandable about thinks like that.Author's response
But then you have to be really lucky and talented to act. I'm semi-talented and naturally unlucky.
I'm so unlucky that they'd probbaly throw me out and laugh, whilst calling me an insane freak or something.A Promise Made To Be Broken?

I'm sure you're very talented. And if acting isn't right, you can do script work or lighting or costuming or something.
That can't do that.Author's response
Drama is the subject I'm doing best in. If I study hard, I could actually get an A.
And teachers aren't supposed to make homophobic comments whilst teaching, but welcvome to my RE lessons.A Promise Made To Be Broken?

Then you must have talent.
Erm, report them.Author's response
Maybe.
Too scared. Some of the class agreed with her too. And they all glared at me.A Promise Made To Be Broken?

You do.
So? They're stupid.Author's response
I don't think I'm really talented at all.
I guess. I just hate how they all stared directly at me.
