I Want To Be A Ghost

I want to be a ghost
To fade away and disappear, to hide in walls, show signs to loved ones am still here. Even if I'm dead and gone, I want those I love to carry on
To celebrate life and not death and remember and laugh at the weird things I said.
I'll always be here, no matter the time and place, in my loved ones hearts
My soul will never truly depart
From the world of the living, the breathing, it will feel like I never truly left.
I want to be a ghost
TO stay near and never leave, to be there through my loved ones' hardest times.
To help them through and that my words are true.
That I never broke my promise to be there through thick and thin.
I want to be a ghost
Even though they might not see me, to see my smile, or my face.
But still be able to hear my voice, feel my touch, to hear me walking to remind them am still there.
I want to be a ghost
To remind them the ones they love are never truly gone,
They are still there and live on
In their hearts and in their thoughts
I want to be there
I want to be a ghost
To see them grow up and achieve their dreams
To see them smile when they achieve,
To see their tears of joy on their happiest day
To see they are protected and unharmed and safe.
I want to be a ghost
When they are about to reach their time, with acceptance and a smile
Knowing they have lived their lives the way they wanted and ready to start a new one
I'll be there to hold them in my arms and reassure them everything is okay.
Its just another journey to be made.
I want to be a ghost to be there for when its their time to pass away.
