Frank’s POV
Of course, everyone wanted all the details when I get back. I wanted to spin some elaborate tale of sneaking out and doing kinky things that they wouldn’t expect, but I decided the truth may be better. So I told them how nothing happened. We cuddled in bed and talked ourselves to sleep. It was wonderfully romantic and I miss him bad now.
“Frank, sitting at the side of the pool is only gonna make you more miserable!” Gee calls from in the indoor swimming pool at the hotel.
“I don’t feel like swimmi—.” I am shoved from behind and fall in.
“Ray!” I scream. He’s doubled over in laughter behind the spot where I was just sitting. I grab his foot and pull him in also. He laughs and splashes water in my face. And thus he water war begins.
It’s not long before I hear my phone go off from the table it’s sitting on. I go over and discover two messages from Josh:
MEET ME WHERE YOU FIRST SAW ME and PS DRESS SEXY
I smile wide, my mood suddenly brightening. I don’t understand why I have to dress nice, but I find it’s better not to question Josh’s motives.
“Guy’s get out! We’re going to Fireflies!” I yell back at the pool.
…
I look in the mirror one final time. Dressing “sexy” wasn’t easy with the clothes I brought. I managed to find a tight, plain black tee shirt and some skinny jeans. I also discovered that somehow my knee-high converse got into my suitcase. With an added splash of eyeliner I think I look as good as I’m getting.
“Frank, stop fussing and let’s go!” Gee says.
“Alright,” I sigh and follow him out the door.
When I walk into the club, my first thought is to look for Josh. Unfortunately, I’m not given the chance as a pair of lips captures my own. I freeze, slightly realizing that it’s Josh.
He pulls away and smirks, “My apologies, but you look positively irresistible.”
I laugh at this, “Thanks, you too.”
He really does look amazing. His blue hair is slightly teased and he has on just a touch of eyeliner. He is wearing a white collared shirt. A dress jacket hangs loosely around it and a slightly undone tie is around his neck. His pants contrast in a perfect way, making him look rebellious and…well…sexy. They are a pair of black skinny jeans with rips in one leg and chains hanging down the other. Over them is a pair of simple leather boots.
I pull his lips to mine again, unable to control the urge. He does that to me. My eyes close as I feel his arms slip around my waist. Without warning, he picks me up and sets me on what I think is a nearby stool. Then, all too soon, he pulls away.
He cups my face gently in his hand, “Will you sneak away with me? I want to take you someplace special.”
This intrigues me. Sneaking away in general sounds great. I’ve never liked large crowds of strangers. But where could this “special place” be? I have to find out. I nod and we slip out the door.
We get in his car and he pulls out of the parking lot. A couple of miles away he turns down a dirt road. Soon we are surrounded by trees. My horror movie brain kicks in and I imagine several different scenarios that could go wrong. I grab onto Josh’s arms to try and get rid of them.
He stops the car after a few minutes and smiles at me, “We will be walking from here. Don’t worry, it’s not far.”
We get out and walk down a path that would be invisible if you weren’t looking for it. The leaves of nearby trees tickle my face and I have to step over thorns more than once. I find that the trouble is worth it, though, when we break through the foliage. What we’re standing in has to be out of a fairy tale. It’s a small clearing, dominated by a large, elegant old fountain. It has long since dried up, but the beauty is still there.
There are three pools to it and the top is adorned with two stone koi fish that are so detailed that you could imagine them swimming around each other. Wild ivy grows around it with vividly colored blooms.
“Josh, this is…amazing,” I whisper, not wanting to break the peace.
“Isn’t it?” he replies, “I found it when I was a kid. I’ve been coming back ever since. It’s my favorite place.”
He goes over to sit on the edge of the fountain and pats the spot next to him. As I sit, he reaches into the fountain and pulls out a beautiful acoustic guitar. As a musician, it’s all I can do not to reach out and stroke it, maybe even strum a few strings. I wonder why he has it out here.
“Frankie, I want you to close your eyes,” he says and I do, “This is for you.”
A beautiful melody begins to fill the air. I’m shocked by just how beautiful Josh’s voice is when he sings. The lyrics are breathtaking and blend perfectly with the simple guitar line. I feel tears prick my eyes when he reaches the bridge of the song.
I will stay
Nobody will break you
Trust in me, trust in me
Don’t pull away
Just trust in me, trust in me
I’m just trying to keep it together
‘Cuz I could do worse and you could do better
When the song ends I open my eyes. Our gazes lock and he leans in to kiss me gently. I bury my face in his shoulder as my eyes overflow. He pats the back of my head softly.
“I didn’t mean to upset you…” he says.
I shake my head, “Your song was so beautiful…I just don’t want to go home…”
“Oh, Frankie, I don’t want you to leave either.”
I pull away and look into his eyes again, “Promise me you won’t find someone else. Promise me we’ll find some way to stay together.”
He grabs my shoulders, “Frank, I could never dream of finding someone more perfect than you. If we got torn apart, a part of me would be lost forever. I promise you, swear on my own life, I will never leave you.”
I am lost for words to answer him with. Instead of talking, I pull his lips to mine and try to convey all the love in my heart with one kiss. Unfortunately, it doesn’t work and after a quick breath we dive back in. I feel all the worry from the past few days slide off. Josh is mine. He’s not going anywhere.
I feel his tongue slowly run along my bottom lip and open my mouth to allow him access. The metallic tang of his tongue ring fills my mouth like a forbidden fruit. I moan into our kiss, reveling in it. Slowly, gently, Josh pushes me back to lie on the cold stone. He climbs on top of me and straddles my hips, supporting his weight with his knees. I slip my hands inside the back of his shirt and feel the skin, causing him to shiver. His hips press gently to mine, causing just the tiniest bit of friction and giving me the beginnings of an erection.
I know what’s coming, and I should be thinking of the fact that we’re in the middle of the woods with nothing to make us more comfortable. Yet all I can focus on is the longing, the need to touch him, feel him, have him one more time before I go. So I don’t stop him when he slips off my shirt and attaches his lips to my neck. I moan loudly as he bites down on my pulse. My back arches, dragging my shoulders along the fountain. The stone scrapes them, causing me to hiss. Josh simply lifts me up and lays me on the soft grass, not losing his hold on my neck.
I tug questioningly on the hem of his shirt. He lifts his arms and lets me pull it off. Our bare chests are pressed together now and the skin-to-skin contact sends shockwaves of pleasure through my veins. My skinny jeans are becoming painfully restricting and I regret wearing them. Mercifully, Josh reaches down and unbuttons them. He tugs on them and I raise my hips so he can slide them off.
He laughs softly, his breath ghosting over my skin, “I know I said dress sexy, Frankie, but no underwear?”
“These jeans are really tight,” I complain.
He smirks and kisses up my jaw, licking the shell of my ear, “Mine are too, you know.”
I smile innocently and grind my hips up into his, “Oh? Are they?”
“Teasing…bitch,” he gasps out.
I giggle as I concede to his wishes and slide his pants off. It doesn’t surprise me that he lacks underwear also. I buck up my hips to rub our naked erections together, causing us both to moan. Josh reaches up and places three fingers by my mouth. At first this confuses me. Then I realize that he wants to use my saliva as a lubricant seeing as we lack any better alternative.
After a few moments he removes them and pushes my knees to my chest. He pushes in the first finger slowly and skillfully. I moan, now loving the sensation. The second finger soon joins the first and I find that there’s hardly any discomfort from the stretch. He moves his fingers in and out, adding the third and making scissoring motions to try to prepare me. It feels really good and I don’t want him to stop.
Suddenly, he plunges his fingers in deeper and I am filled with an unmatched pleasure. I cry out as my back arches, “Fuck! Josh, please do that again!” he smiles and obliges. My vision fills with white spots and I feel as if I could come right now. He slowly pulls his fingers out, making me feel empty. This feeling doesn’t last long though as he positions himself and thrusts into me, hitting that magic spot on the first try. Any pain is forgotten as he pulls out and slams back in, hitting my prostate over and over. I am reduced to breathy moans of absolute ecstasy. I have never felt this good before in my life.
I’m almost disappointed when I feel the familiar tightening in my gut. I don’t want this to end. But it does as I spill my seed over both our stomachs with a loud moan. Seconds later I am filled with a sticky warmth and Josh collapses on top of me, his energy spent.
“I love you so much,” he whispers, clutching me to his chest.”
“I love you, too,” I reply, kissing his jaw lightly.
Josh’s POV
A soft chuckle escapes my lips as I realize that my starlit fantasy has come true. It’s a sad sort of chuckle, though. While this night has turned out more wonderful and perfect than I could hope to imagine, the next time I get to be with him like this could be years away. God, I do not want to let him leave. It’s just not fair.
“What’s on your mind?”” Frank asks.
“You,” I answer simply.
He giggles, “What about me?”
Where to start? “Your laugh, your smile, your eyes, your voice, your sweet little ass, your…everything. Your everything and how I want to lock you up with me and throw away the key so that they can’t take you back to New Jersey and leave me with only this oh so short month to hold on to before I see you again.”
There are tears in his eyes again and I hate myself for it. I hate that something I said put them there. He’s so much more beautiful when he’s smiling.
“Josh, I…” he looks down at the ground, “We need to get back. I didn’t tell Gee I was leaving and we’ve been here a while…”
I know he’s right, but leaving means accepting the end of our last night, “Just a little longer?” I plead.
He looks into my eyes, searching, then sighs, “Can I play your guitar? It makes me miss Pansy.”
“Of course. I didn’t know you play, but…Pansy?” I ask, thinking maybe he’s referring to an old pet or an ex-girlfriend.
He blushes, “I…named my guitar…”
I smile. He’s just too darn cute for his own good. I hand him my acoustic and his eyes light up. He spends a few moments stroking the face of it, and then he giggles.
“I should put my clothes back on…” he says.
“Awe, do you have to? You look so sexy with that guitar…Can I get a picture?”
His cheeks turn as red as Gerard’s hair, “I…but, uh, that is…”
“Just relax, baby, you aren’t photogenic when you’re flustered.”
He stops complaining and the color drains from his cheeks, replaced by the most adorable pout in the world. I take my phone out of my pants’ pocket and snap a picture. I set it as my background before beginning to pull on my clothes. Frank mirrors my actions. I’m glad he let me take the picture. This is a night I want to remember forever.
“Can I share a secret with you?” Frank asks.
“What secret? I thought we told each other everything!” I say with mock insult.
“It’s just a song me ‘n Gee have been working on. Mikey and Ray don’t know about it.”
“I’d love to hear it, Frankie.”
“Okay. We’re calling it ‘Demolition Lovers.’ I think it’s mostly about Gee and Lindsey, but I’d love to apply it to us…”
He begins strumming a melody that moves my heart by itself. Then he starts to sing and I swear time stops.
Hand in mine into your icy blues
And then I’d say to you
“We could take to the highway”
With this trunk of ammunition, too
I’d end my days with you
In a hail of bullets
His voice is purely amazing. I become more and more attached with every line. He leaves me wanting more when he finally stops.
“Frankie, you’re amazing,” I breathe.
He looks down, embarrassed, “Gee usually sings. He’s way better at it than me.”
“Somehow, I seriously doubt that.”
“Well, it’s true,” he says, strumming idly on the guitar. I can’t help noticing how comfortable he is with the instrument. He makes playing it look effortless.
“You severely misjudge yourself.”
He smiles, “What was the song you played me?”
“I haven’t named it yet, but…I was thinking of you the whole time I was writing it.”
“So it should definitely be ‘Frankie’s Song,” he grins at me.
I laugh, “I’m not that blunt, sweetheart. I was thinking more along the lines of ‘Beside You.’”
“Mmhmm, cuz using a line from the song is so subtle.”
“Well…I’m just not very creative
I’m surprised when he presses his lips to mine briefly. He then smiles at me, “Don’t sell yourself short.”
I can’t help but smile back at him, “Okay, but let’s get back to the club. It really is getting late.”
He gets a look that tells me that now he’s the one who doesn’t want to leave. I laugh as I stand, grabbing his hand and bringing him up with me. He pouts as I pull him back along the trail.
“We’ll dance when we get back, how about that?” I offer.
“I don’t dance,” he mumbles.
I stop and face him, “Nonsense. Everybody dances, they just don’t all admit it or realize it. You can’t tell me you’ve never gotten into a song and jumped around a little.”
“Okay, let me rephrase that: I don’t dance in public.”
“You will dance. I don’t care if I have to get you drunk to do it, but you will dance.”
“I don’t drink,” he says.
“Bull,” I counter and continue walking. A few seconds later I hear his footsteps following.
…
When we arrive back at Fireflies, Frank immediately sits on the stool next to Gerard, who looks surprised to see him back. I walk over and do a formal bow. Then, I hold out my hand to him.
“May I have this dance?”
He scowls at my hand, “No.”
The rejection stings a bit. I turn to the cherry haired boy next to him, “Would you be so kind as to pour Frankie a drink?”
“Would you be so kind as to explain why you kidnapped my best friend?” he retorts, clearly not happy with our disappearance.
I wave my hand at him, “It wasn’t kidnapping, he came willingly. I was giving him a present.”
“What present?”
Frank blushes, “He wrote me a song. And he took me to the most beautiful place in the world.”
Gerard still looks mistrusting, “well, why do you want him drunk?”
I let out a huff of air, “So I can take him away to a dark place where I will chain him up and use him for my own evil, nasty pleasures,” his eyes widen, “I just want him to dance with me,” I add, annoyed.
He looks at Frank, “Why won’t you dance with him? We’re at a club.”
“I just don’t like dancing…”
“Why not? It’s fun,” Mikey says as he walks up with a girl under his arm.
“Mikey, please tell me I don’t have to remind you about Alicia,” Gerard says in a sinister voice.
“Relax, Gee. Taylor here is just a friend.”
“Just a friend? Who’s Alicia?” the girl, Taylor, asks.
“Um, my girlfriend.”
“Of course!” Taylor is suddenly yelling. She breaks away and walks back toward the crowd, “Gay, taken or homicidal! I just can’t win!”
“Um, okaay,” I turn back to Frank, “Dance with meeeee! I beg like a small child.
“No.”
“Pleeease! Frankie I really wanna dance!”
“Frank, just go. What can it hurt?” Gerard asks.
“My pride, my self-esteem, Josh’s feet…” Frank says, but he stands up anyway, “I’m doing this. But I don’t want to do this. Remember that.”
I smile really wide and grab his hand, pulling him onto the dance floor. There isn’t much space because of all the people that are out there. Still, I somehow manage to lead him around in a wild dance that I make up on the spot. It involves a lot of motion and spinning and once I even lift him up. He is very stiff at first, clearly not wanting to participate. Then he loosens up and seems to enjoy himself. After a while he starts smiling and laughing, very into the activity.
At one point he takes over and attempts to imitate the girls around us. He puts his arms behind his head, facing away from me, and moves his ass up and down. I’m sure he’s meaning to grind into my crotch, but he’s only tall enough to reach my upper thigh. I crouch down slightly, wrapping my arms around his waist and mirroring his movements. He giggles adorably.
We are both breathing heavily when we break away from the crowd. Frank is grinning like an idiot and I can feel myself doing the same. Coming down off my dance induced high is a slow process. When I’m finally calmed down enough to look at my watch, my mood plummets. As late as it is, Mom is going to kill me when I get home. I absolutely can’t stay any longer, but I desperately want more time with Frank. I pull him into a tight hug and press a soft kiss to his lips.
“I have to go home,” I say miserably.
He gets a panicked look in his eyes, “What, why?”
“Frankie, it’s almost three in the morning.”
His eyes widen further, “What? Shit. Not good.”
I pet his hair, “I…Don’t know if I’ll see you before you leave, but I promise I’ll be at the airpot. Text me before you go, okay?”
He nods, “I will. I love you.”
“I love you, too. So much.” With that, I kiss him again and walk slowly to the door. He follows me to my car and waves as I drive away.
A/N oh my glob only one more chapter left. I feel a bit sad...
