Cool.
Asking Alexandria are kinda electro/techno kinda hardcore. Well, for songs like A Prophecy and The Final Episode, other songs are pretty much five-minute-long-ultimate-hardcore-rock.
Wouldn't indie rock be like Never Shout Never and stuff? Indie means acoustic stuff right? I'm not too sure..This Is No Hallucination

Indie is kind of JJAMZ. JJAMZ are amazing. I'm talking Daft Punk, Owl City, weird stuff like that. I've been listened to butt-tons of Lana Del Rey, Marina & The Diamonds, Charli XCX, girly stuff like that too. My brother Ryan told me about Lana. I love him so much. My big brother is literally my world, he is so amazing.This Is No Hallucination

I kind of agree.
Songs with screaming do have a lot of meaning (even though the genre seems to scare people; the fans and bands along with the meanings are quite deep)
But most meaningful, in my opinion is punk; any type (you just have to find the right songs)
