  When I'm cranky, I end up writing incredibly angry stuff and not posting it, just for the sheer calming effect it has. It works 99.9% of the time.

  It depends on what mood I'm in and who I'm dealing with. If it's bad, I never apologize, and end up fuming for days. If it's mild, it'll get to me and I'll apologize.
