A THOUSAND YEARS

I hope you mend extremely well. I had a similar accident in 1982.
Finally a writer that can write and not make all the bad guys as heroes.I love it. I am enjoying this story so very muchAuthor's response
Heya jonapple.
I’m on the mend. Another two weks in the first cast and I can trade it in for a more sporty model. The tape comes off the ribs at the same time, and I know that’s gonna hurt!
I cannot see how any fanfction writer - who - has - read - the - books, can possibly think Snape, Malfoy or Voldemort are ‘misunderstood’. I just can’t.
On the other hand I also don’t make my heroes perfect. We each have our dark sides in us and sometimes I have the characters let them out to play.
I’m glad you’re having fun. This one is almost over but I have several nearly ready to begin posting.

As always, an enjoyable offering. Sorry to hear of your accident. I've known of General Contractors that went out of business after every job to avoid liability; so stake your claim sooner rather than later. Best of luck. W.

Heya Wolf!
Glad you like the dinner.
Accident: it happens. I was lucky. If I hadn’t learned to fall right, I would be hurt more than I am. GC’s. I’ve heard the same. Fortunately it can be proved that he was well aware of the hazards and did nothing to reduce them. Where it goes from there? Anybody’s guess.

Why would I need "a lot of coffee" to read Chaucer!?! #confusedAuthor's response
First, it’s nearly seven hundred pages long and second it’s written in Middle English which, if you didn’t grow up with it is a pain to translate into Modern.

For the Imperius curse defence being invalid because 'they would have had no ability to form the intent necessary to cast unforgivable curses themselves while under the Imperius' argument; that's flimsy as hell and if Grabbit was actually a remotely competent barrister he'd immediately point out that all that 'proves' is that Mr. Malfoy may have violent urges or that he's got bigoted thoughts. Thoughts however are not crimes, actions are crimes and the Imperius curse cast on Mr. Malfoy removed his natural disinclinations to actually follow through with those thoughts, forced him to give in to his baser instincts by removing his inhibitions, stripping him of his conscience and rendering him bereft of the ability to hold himself back from acting out on those violent urges.
Add a few crocodile tears from a 'remorseful' Malfoy and bang presto we don't even need to pay any bribes to get him off because the prosecution just helped us paint him as a victim. Thanks Connie! You over-zealous fool.
It's not illegal to feel as though you'd like to kill or hurt or use someone, it's illegal to do it and when he did it he wasn't in control of his actions and was even being further encouraged to carry those actions out. To use a common metaphor, it's like he had a devil on each shoulder telling him what to do. Clearly from his charitable and philanthropic work since he's been freed from the curse and regained his faculties you can see that he is in fact a person who prefers to listen to their angel's counsel and ignore their devil when given a fair chance to make the decision which to heed for himself.

I can't even count how many times I've come across the fact that the bad guys have multiple wands and the good guys one! Another is that Pureblood children can practice magic at home before and after starting Hogwarts while Half-blood and Muggle-borns can't. There are so many differing reasons for that if ff that I won't even bother to try counting! Don't even get me started on the moronic idea of Aruros fighting DEs with minor spells while facing deadly fire! That's like sending troops into battle with cap guns while the enemy uses AK-47s! But then Fumblewhore always had his own little plans running behind the scenes.
