Notorious Mobster Execution: Connected with Suicide of Up-and-Coming Accomplice?
Frank Iero, 25, was found dead in his cell on Tuesday. Sources say he had hung himself using an extra pair of pants he was given. The incident took place shortly after he was transferred to Washington State Penitentiary for death row, consequential to his murder of Terrence Lavell, an inmate of California State Prison. Only days before, the well-known mafia master Gerard Way was executed by lethal injection. Authorities feel that given the evidence they have gathered, there was a connection between the two deaths, although this has yet to be confirmed.
