A.N. Sweet Mother of Christ, I haven’t updated in ages! I’m so sorry guys. :L lolhai is probably having a heart attack thinking I’m not coming back. BUT HERE I AM! I don’t know how this scene with turn out so just wait and see guys.
So here tis guys!
Scene 14
The three boys turn the corner away from the bus and are shocked at what they see. Passing through the village is a huge parade. The people are all dressed in oriental style clothes and Arabic music can be heard.
Parade:
Make way for Prince Keli
Say hey! It's Prince Keli
Vic: (at the front of the parade)
Hey! Clear the way in the old Bazaar
Hey you!
Let us through!
It's a bright new star!
Oh Come!
Be the first on your block to meet his eye!
Make way!
Here he comes!
Ring bells! Bang the drums!
Are you gonna love this guy!
A curtained pedestal is held up by a few marchers shoulders. On top of the pedestal are a few women who full back the curtains to reveal KELLIN in more royal attire. Throughout the rest of the song he strikes numerous poses.
Vic:
Prince Keli! Fabulous he!
Keli Ababwa
Genuflect, show some respect
Down on one knee!
Now, try your best to stay calm
Brush up your sunday salaam
The come and meet his spectacular coterie.
Prince Keli!
Mighty is he!
Keli Ababwa
Strong as ten regular men, definitely!
He faced the galloping hordes
A hundred bad guys with swords
Who sent those goons to their lords?
Why, Prince Keli
Village people and the parade:
He's got seventy-five golden camels
Purple peacocks
He's got fifty-three
Vic:
When it comes to exotic-type mammals
Has he got a zoo?
I'm telling you, it's a world-class menagerie
Prince Keli! Handsome is he, Keli Ababwa
That physique! How can I speak
Weak at the knee
Well, get on out in that square
Adjust your vein and prepare
To gawk and grovel and stare at Prince Keli!
There's no question this Keli's alluring
Never ordinary, never boring
Everything about the man just plain impresses
He's a winner, he's a whiz, a wonder!
He's about to pull my heart asunder!
And I absolutely love the way he dresses!
Village people and the parade:
He's got ninety-five white Persian monkeys
(He's got the monkeys, let's see the monkeys)
And to view them he charges no fee
(He's generous, so generous)
He's got slaves, he's got servants and flunkies
(Proud to work for him)
They bow to his whim love serving him
They're just lousy with loyalty to Keli! Prince Keli!
All:
Prince Keli!
Amorous he! Keli Ababwa
Vic:
Heard your princess was a sight lovely to see
All:
And that, good people, is why he got dolled up and dropped by
With sixty elephants, llamas galore
With his bears and lions
A brass band and more
With his forty fakirs, his cooks, his bakers
His birds that warble on key
Make way for Prince Keli!
SONG END
Gerard grits his teeth at the sight of the parade.
Gerard:
Prince ‘Keli’? Are you serious. He is pathetic!
Mikey:
Who has a parade?
Gerard goes to hit Mikey but stops himself as his little brother flinches.
AN. This scene was not fun to type. -_- But I hope you enjoyed it!
