I had a letter to leave underneath his bed telling him everything was his. I didn't have much but what I did have I wanted him to keep. Maybe the objects won't last but I hope his memory of me will. He is sleeping. He doesn't do that much anymore. His curly brown hair falling over his eyes. The eyes that told me everything was going to be okay. It was time now. He had looked after me and now I had to do the same for him. I folded the letter in half staring at the last few lines.
