Getting to the hospital Pete was instructed to sit in the waiting room and a doctor would be out to speak with him as soon as they knew something about Cadence. He really just wanted to make sure she was ok. She was pretty sure she had a panic attack and fainted. There shouldn't really be much wrong with her.

About a half an hour later, Pete jumped up as he saw Cadence walk through the emergency room doors. "You ok?" He asked as he grabbed her into a hug.

Cadence nodded. "Yeah, I...I just fainted. I can't believe he's still alive." She nodded as she quickly folded the papers they gave her confirming her diagnosis and shoved them into her purse. "I thought for sure he would of killed himself by now." She was about to continue what she was saying when Kanye West's gold digger could be heard playing through the lobby. "That's Patrick." She dug through her purse and pulled out her phone.

"Why?" Pete had to laugh. "Why would that be Patrick's ring tone?" He questioned and had to laugh as she picked up the phone. He just listened as she told Patrick that she would call him back later because they were just leaving the hospital and going back to the house. She was then quiet for a little bit as he could hear Patrick rambling on but he wasn't quite sure what he was saying and then Cadence said bye and hung up. "What'd he want?" Pete asked. He was still unsure about how Patrick was reacting to everything. Some days he seemed fine and then others he seemed to warn Pete to be gentle with Cadence. Like he didn't know that already. Please.

"He just wanted to see how the trip was going and then told me to call Lisa because she got David's autopsy results back. I kinda asked her to keep an eye on the case so that everything is in order finacially." She said as she put her sunglasses on. She was desperately trying to ignore what the doctor had told her. She definitely had to call Patrick back. She knew that he'd be there for her. She also knew that she had to get her house sold and get a new one immediatley. It was time to stop playing house with Peter Wentz. It never meant good news.

Later that night, Pete had gone out for a little bit with his brother Andrew. Arii was sleeping and Bronx was with his grandfather. She sat on the bed in Pete's room and held the phone in her hands. How the hell was she going to tell Patrick this? What would everyone say? They would of known she had been reckless. Who goes around having so much careless sex? And ofcourse everyone would say there would be the paternity question. How was she going to tell her best friend this news? Sighing she knew what she had to do. She knew he would do the right thing and be there for her every step of the way no matter what she chose to do.

She put the phone to her ear as she listened for the rings. After two of them his voice came in loud over the phone. "Hey bunny, what's up?" He smiled. He was finally at a place in his life where he had the love of his life and his best friend back around.

"A lot." She sighed.

"Start with why you were at the hospital. I assumed it was Pete doing stupid, but when I spoke to him he said you fainted."

"It was me. We walked into Shakey Joe's and I saw my uncle sitting at that damn table. He looks horrible. I don't even know how he's still alive..." She trailed off. She knew right now seeing him was the least of her worries. "I paniced and passed out. But, that's not even the half of it..." She trailed off.

"What's the matter, Cad? Did he say something to you or threaten you in some way?" He asked now he was getting concerned over the tone of her voice that something was really wrong.

"Patrick, I'm pregnant." She sighed. She had to just spit the words out and let him know. "You're the only one who knows and I don't plan on telling anyone else..." She warned him specifically not to say anything to anyone including Pete.

"I don't know if we should be happy, scared or shocked." He said. He had failed her before and he wasn't planning on doing it again. "What are we going to do about it?"

Cadence loved how he always stressed the word we. Like it was a person growing inside of his body. "The timing is so wrong. But, I'm a mom..how could I love one child and get rid of another?" She shook her head. "I need to find a place to live Patrick. I can't keep playing house with Pete. This is so wrong...all of this. His divorce, David, me and you..." She sighed. "I need to sell that house and get a new place."

"Alright first things first. You guys will be home tomorrow and we will go and get you guys a place to live. Even if I have to lend you the money." He said lend only because he knew she wouldn't just take the money. He would let her think she could pay him back and then just not let her. Simple as that. He also knew that David had wasted all her money. He was the one that had gone over her fiances with her.

"Thank you, firefly." She felt a little bit better about this whole thing. She knew in her gut that she was going to have this baby. She also knew that she would of never known that she was pregnant if it wasn't for the blood test because she was only about two weeks along. Hanging up with Patrick she walked out to the living room to see Ariana and Bronx playing together. Ariana was going to be a big sister. She was constantly asking for a sibling anytime she saw kids playing together in the park.

Cadence just hoped that she would adjust to everything well. According to Patrick he could have them in a house and settled within the next week while they waited for her house to sell. Once that happened she would pay Patrick back and then she'd be on her own doing what she needed to do. Raising her babies and working to make sure that they had everything that they needed. Her stomach was turning so much at the thought of everything that had happened in two weeks. But, she had been through worse and gotten through it. She would get through this and in the end she would be way stronger for it.

She sat down on the couch and watched the kids play together. They had seemed to become really close. Leave it to her little girl to fall for Pete's little boy. Oh how funny things turned out.
