Here's another chapter! This is for Lisa, cause she's going to love it. hey youngblood where did you go?
------------

"And then after I pull him out of the car and get him handcuffed, he looks at me and goes 'you can cuff me anytime,

baby!'. I could hardly keep a straight face!" Lisa laughed as she put her glass down on the table. She and Cadence had

been out for a late dinner.

After Ashlee had left Pete's, Cadence had decided to let Pete have some alone time with his son. They hadn't gotten a

chance to talk about what had happened with Ashlee or what they were going to do now that he had told her that he loved

her. She loved him and she knew it but it still scared her.

"I can't believe that!" Cadence laughed as she sipped her iced tea. "I envy your job so much. I think it would be so

cool!!" She picked up her fork and finished her steak. She had been craving it all day and was so glad that she had went

out to dinner with Lisa and Ariana.

"Mama, I'm tired." Ariana rubbed her eyes as she picked up her sippy cup and took a drink of her juice.

"Ok, baby. We're going to go home soon." Cadence leaned over and kissed her daughter on her head.

"So how do you feel about having twins?" Lisa asked as she bit into her food. She couldn't believe that they were going to

be having twins. But, she was so excited for them to be born. She was so happy to see Pete happy. For as long as she'd

known Pete he had been having a hard time with life. She had never seen a smile on his face as big as the one that Cadence

brought him. She was also so happy to see Patrick back with his best friend. She had heard so much about Cadence before

she even came back into their lives.

"I'm so scared..." She trailed off. "I mean you know how I felt about everything with Pete and not wanting to jump into

another reltionship...but I can't raise three kids by myself." She picked Ariana up out of the high chair once she had

started to fall asleep. Thankfully she had brought in her carriage because she knew Ariana would be going to bed shortly.

"I mean I know I love him, but this all doesn't look right either."

"You know that you shouldn't worry about what other people think. I mean it sucks sometimes when it comes to the fact that

we're in the spotlight because of who we love." She ran a hand through her hair and fixed it.

Lisa was such a beauty. She had gorgeous red and brown hair and stunning brown eyes that pierced into your soul from a

mile away. Cadence could see easily why Patrick was in love with her. Not only was she gorgeous but she had the best

personality.

"I know. I want to just be with him without all the drama. Ashlee is making sure she's going to tell anyone and everyone

that will listen that I am a home wrecker." She finished her drink. "She fails to mention that she cheated on him, she's

the one that filed for the divorce." She looked at Lisa and then back down to the table. "She told Pete he couldn't see

Bronx as long as he was with me." She didn't want to be the reason for him losing his son. But, she also didn't want her

son and daughter growing up without their father, especially since Arii was already growing up without her daddy.

"Fuck her." Lisa grabbed the check as it came to the table. "My treat." She took out her credit card and handed it back to

the waitress.

"Thank you babe." Cadence smiled as she took Ariana's leftovers and put them in the carriage basket.

"Anytime." She smiled as she slipped her credit card back in her wallet. "I know its a hard job for you being a gold digger and all." Lisa teased.

Cadence cracked a smile as they exited the restaurant and headed to Lisa's car. "I know, wait until the child support starts rolling in!" She snapped Ariana into her carseat and shut the door. She had a little trouble getting into the car herself because of her huge belly. She felt huge and fat. "I feel so unattractive." She stretched her seatbelt out and over her belly.

"Oh stop!" Lisa shook her head. "You have got Pete wrapped around your finger and he thinks you are drop dead gorgeous."

"He for some reason has always thought I was so hot and I don't get it at all."

"What's to get? You are beautiful. You have stunning blue eyes, gorgeous hair and plus all those tattoos are so hot." Lisa told her. "If I didn't like boys, hell, I'd do ya." She was tyring so hard to bring a smile to her friends face. Out of all the Fall Out girlfriends, she liked Cadence the best.

"Oh girl!" Cadence laughed. "I second that but about you!" She smiled brightly. "I just want to say thank you.."

"For what?"

"Well, for one for being my friend and accepting me into this little group and making me never feel like I am just some home wrecker..." She hated that word. She was almost positive as they were having this conversation that Ashlee was out spreading that rumor to whoever would listen to her big mouth. "Secondly, thank you for being so good to Patrick. I have never seen him smile so much." She loved the look on Patrick's face when he saw Lisa. He looked so happy all of the time.

"You never have to thank for me that." She turned onto Pete's block. She had just assumed Cadence was going to go back to his house. "I love Patrick so much and he makes me so happy. He is totally the ying to my yang." She laughed. "That sounded so corny!"

"No! It didn't. I loved it." She smiled as she saw Pete's house come into view. Normally she would of demanded that she go home, that she didn't belong there, but right now all she wanted was to crawl into bed with Pete and kiss him. "Thank you for tonight, Lis." She took her seatbelt off. "Tell Patrick I'll call him tomorrow, okay?" She opened the door. "And, I will probably text you in a little bit!" She nodded. "By the way, only you two know about it being twins, so we're not going to mention it, ok?"

"My lips are sealed." She nodded as she watched Cadence take Ariana out of the car seat and hold her in her arms. Lisa and Patrick had gotten a car seat in each of their cars after Cad came back into Patrick's lives that way they weren't constantly borrowing and switching seats.

"Ok, love you." Cadence blew Lisa a kiss as she shut the car door. She had started to walk towards the door when it opened and Pete came walking down the drive to help her with the baby.

"You shouldn't be carrying her." Pete took Ariana from her and adjusted her weight onto his shoulder and arm. "I don't want you hurting your already messed up back." Cadence had sustained a bad back injury years ago at the hands of her Uncle and then it had gotten hurt again one night at one of their earlier shows. She had constantly gone to physical therapy and had taken medications to help her with it. He assumed that she would still be on pain medicine if it wasn't for David. He avoided that conversation all the time though. Any chance to mention David he would avoid at all costs.

"It's fine, Pete. I'm all she has left." Cadence shut the door behind them and she smiled at the sight of Bronx asleep on the couch, his beautiful blone hair tossed everywhere. "He needs a haircut." She laughed.

"I know and no, she has me too. I am going to be there for her just like I am baby wentz's one and two." He nodded.

"You mean Jace and Kennedy?" She smiled looking at him.

"Oh my gosh..." He looked up at her wide eyed. "You still want those names?!" He laughed. When they had been dating for a while they talked about things like any couple would. Cadence had always wanted a son named Jace Patrick and a daughter named Kennedy Leigh. He thought she lost interst in those names though considering Ariana wasn't named Kennedy. "I thought for sure you lost interest. I mean otherwise she should be named Kennedy." He smiled as he started to walk up the stairs. He would move Bronx in a few minutes.

"Those names only go with Wentz." She smiled looking at him as she followed him up the stairs. "Same middle names and all. You liked them back then..." She looked at him. "And I'm not naming them Staten Island and Queens." She smirked.

"Hey my son has an awesome name." He put Ariana down in the crib and turned on the night light.

"Yes, he does. And he has an awesome dad." She leaned over and kissed her daughter on the head. Her big belly had started getting in the way more and more and she was not liking it. She admired her for a little bit before she looked up and caught Pete doing the same. "Are you really going to be there for her?"

"I said I would and I meant it."

"She's someone else's daughter..."

"Bronx is someone elses son... does that mean you wouldn't accept him as part of our family?" He was making a point.

"I love your son already. But, he has a mother too." She also had a point to make. "Bronx understands that you and his mommy aren't together anymore and that he'll have a diverse family." She was starting to tear up. "But, Ariana doesn't have a dad to go visit. She will only have a mommy."

"And a daddy." He nodded. "Let me adopt her." He said sincerly. "I don't want her to be the only one of us who isn't a Wentz."

"I'm not a Wentz."

"You will be." He said as he followed her out of the nursery and they headed back downstairs to move Bronx.

"Oh will I?" She smirked as she turned the TV off and the light as Pete picked up Bronx and they once again went back upstairs. "You sound so sure about that."

"I am sure about it. I have to show you something..." He told her as he used his foot to push open Bronx's bedroom door. This time Cadence turning on the night light and both of them kissing him good night.

"What is it?" Cadence wasn't sure if she should be nervous or not.

"You'll see." He walked into his own bedroom and over to his closet. "I've had this since the Christmas after you left. I was going to give it to you when you came home and well then you didn't come home and you broke up with me..." He trailed off. He didn't want to have any part of the bad memories of that and how much it hurt.

"What...?" Cadence's eyes fell when she saw the black velvet box that looked like a treasure chest. "That's not..."

"I held onto it ever since because I had hoped one day..." He dropped down to one knee. "Cadence, will you please marry me?" He showed her the ring. It was an absolutely beautiful princess cut engagement ring with one diamond in the middle and then two rubies on each side. It was absolutely her taste.

"You've kept it all this time?" Her eyes started to water. She had seen Ashlee's ring and this one was ten times better than hers and it was twelve years old! "Yes, yes a million times yes." She nodded as the tears flew down her cheeks. "Once you're divorced that is." She laughed as he jumped up from his kneeling position and kissed her.

"Those papers are already signed. Few months and it'll be done and over with. I can start the chapter of the real part of the rest of my life." He felt so happy. He finally had everything he wanted, everything he should of had for the last decade.

"I love you." She kissed him again. "Pete, I don't want us to live apart...but, I don't want to live here..." She trailed off. This was the house he shared with Ashlee and considering the fights they had, and how Ashlee always said it was still her house and she could use that against Cadence.

"Your new house is to small, but we can find our very own dream house. Just me, you and the Wentz kids." He smiled.

"Ariana Wentz sounds pretty." She nodded as she wrapped her arms around him tightly and kissed him. "Again, you're my hero."

"And you've always been mine." He whispered as he kissed her head. In that moment all they needed was to hold each other and everything else could just disappear and they wouldn't have a care in the world.
