"Hey." Pete whispered as he stroked his hand over Cadence's head. She had been sleeping for about six hours now and he was starting to get worried about her. "You okay?" He asked when she had opened her eyes.

"Tired." She whispered as she sat up in the hospital bed a little bit, grimacing as she did. She was still having loads of pain from giving birth only a few hours ago. They had taken her up to her hospital room and she had fallen asleep from pure exhaustion. "What time is it?" She asked.

"Quarter to eleven." He looked down at his cell phone. He had left her to sleep most of the day while he got to see his beautiful babies. "They just took Jace and Kennie back to the nursery." He whispered as he leaned his chin on her arm. He was sitting next to her bed.

"Oh, good." She nodded. "Is Ariana okay?" She asked as she took the cup from the table tray next to her bed and drank some of the water from it.

"Yeah, Patrick went and picked her up, they're at our house. He said she went to bed at around nine." He nodded and let out a yawn himself.

"Why don't you go home and get some sleep?" She offered looking at him. It was late and it had been a long day in the hospital. He had to be just as tired as she was.

"I don't want to leave you." He shook his head. "I'm staying here." He pointed to the empty bed in the room with them. "Perks of being famous." He smiled at her.

"Oh is that what you get from it?" She laughed as she gently touched his face. She couldn't get over how handsome he was sometimes. He had grown up so much and had been so good to her in these last ten months that they had been together. Crazy to think they had all been back in each other's lives for less than a year and now had two kids together.

"Hey, it's a start." He shrugged his shoulders. "You want anything?" He asked.

"No, I'm ok." She told him as she let out a yawn. "Sleep?" She asked and he nodded as he kissed her head. "Love you."

"Love you more." She told him as she turned on her side and fell back to sleep. She felt emotionally, physically and mentally exhausted and withdrawn.

Two days had passed and now Cadence and the twins were able to come home. Pete had picked them up from the hospital while Patrick was home with Ariana and Bronx. Both kids were excited to meet their new siblings. Over the last few months of her pregnancy things with Ashlee were tense but the judge had told her that she could not keep Bronx away from Pete simply because she didn't like his new girlfriend. The judge had basically told her everything that Pete and Cadence were saying all along.

"We're home." Pete whispered as he pushed open the door. He had Kennedy's car seat in his hand while Cadence followed behind with Jace's in hand.

"Welcome home!" They were showered with a chorus of voices. Moving into their living room they were greeted by everyone. Andy and Kacy, Joe, Dani and Izzy, Patrick and Lisa and Ariana and Bronx. Then Pete saw his parents. They hadn't made it out in time for the birth but they were there now and that was all that mattered.

"Mom!" Pete smiled as he ran over to her and hugged her.

"Hi baby." She laughed as she embraced her son in a tight hug. She was so happy to see him, but she really wanted to see her grandbabies. "Give me that baby." She

smiled as she walked over to Cadence and kissed her head. "You look great, sweetie." She smiled at her.

"Thanks Mom." Cadence couldn't help but smile, she didn't feel like she looked great but if Mrs. Wentz said so then it must be true. "This is Jace Patrick." Cadence

lifted up the hood and and placed the seat onto the coffee table. As she reached into the car seat to undo the buckles her left hand was immediately grabbed by Mrs. Wentz.

"And when did we get this?" She looked between her two 'kids'. "When did you put a ring on it?" She looked at her son and almost cracked a smile. She was being serious but wanted to make it seem funny at the same time.

"A few months ago. We just haven't announced it yet." Pete nodded as he took Kennedy out of her carseat. He couldn't believe how tiny she was. Her little body fit perfectly into his arms. She had been 5lbs 8ozs and Jace was 6lbs 3ozs.

"Oh so we have to wait for a press release?" Mr. Wentz questioned as he immediately scooped Kennedy out of Pete's arms and took her. "Bronx do you wanna hold your sister?" He asked as he looked at his oldest grandson.

"Ok pop-pop!" Bronx smiled as he sat on the couch and held his arms out in front of him, he must have been practicing that ever since Cadence and Pete explained to him that he was going to have siblings.

"How about you baby, you want grandma to let you hold your brother?" Mrs. Wentz kneeled down in front of Ariana who was sitting next to Bronx on the couch.

"Grandma!" Ariana smiled as she kissed Mrs. Wentz. "I can hold the baby!" She looked at her mommy and Pete.

"Hey, Arii..." Pete looked at her as he sat down next to her. "You know how Bronx calls me daddy?" He questioned as he took a deep breath. "And, now Kennie and Jace will call me daddy too..." He ran a hand over her head. "How do you feel about me being your daddy too?" He asked her.

"I like that!" Ariana smiled as she kept her arms infront of her with Jace laying in them. "Grandma take the baby." She told Mrs. Wentz and she stood up on the couch

and wrapped her arms around Pete's neck. "I give daddy kisses!" She announced as she gave Pete a kiss.

"Okay, so on top of the news that we have twins now. It is also official as of this morning that Ariana is now, Ariana Lynne Wentz!" He showed everyone the official

adoption papers. They had filled them out the day after he had asked Cadence if he could adopt Ariana and make her a Wentz. It took a few months but now she was

officially his!

"Really?" Cadence smiled. He hadn't even told her that news yet. Now all they had to do was get married and everything would be perfect for them. She could not wait

until she was also a Wentz.

"How about a toast?!" Patrick smiled as he had come from the kitchen with a tray full of wine glasses filled with wine in each of them and apple juice for the kids.

"Here is to some of the best people that I hae ever known." He took a deep breath. "Twelve years ago Pete walked into my life and in turn he walked into Cad's. My best

friend...I was so protective over you but now I know that you were meant to be with Pete. And, you..." He eyed Pete. "You have become my next best friend and I am

thankful that even after all these years that you two have found your way into each other's lives again because honestly it's where you both have always belonged.

Cadence, I am thrilled beyond all words that you are in our lives. You complete this perfect family." He looked around between the boys and the girls. "We have five

beautiful children in our group...and we could not be more blessed to start off the new year like this." He smiled. That's right the twins were born on New Year's Eve

so now it was January 2nd.

"Thank you." Pete and Cadence said at the same time. Pete leaned over and pressed his lips onto Cadence's roughly. "I can't wait until these six weeks pass." He

smirked as he kissed his way down her neck.

"Hey, get a room!" Lisa laughed as she sat down next to Bronx on the couch and looked at Kennedy. She was such a beautiful little girl who looked just like her mother.

"You are going to have your hands full with these heartbreakers." Lisa announced.

"Please, Ariana and Kennie are not leaving the house until they're twenty!" Pete groaned as he sat down on the couch and pulled Cadence into his lap. She sunk into the

couch next to him and got comfortable. She was thrilled that the whole group was together.

"Kacy and Andy are next!" Cadence announced. "Next Fall Out Baby!" She ran her hands through her hair and fixed it.

"No way!" Kacy shook her head as she sat on the arm of the couch next to Andy. "I want a ring on it first!" She had leaned over and picked up a now six month old Izzy.

"And then I want a boy to even out this group. Girls are winning!"

"Yeah! Team girl!" Lisa and Cadence high fived. "With fathers, godfathers and Uncles like these..." She looked around the room. "These three girls don't stand a

chance."

Bronx smiled as he walked over to his father and climbed on the couch as he cuddled into the small nook between Cadence and Pete. He wrapped his arms around Cadence and gave her a kiss. It was just Bronx's way of letting Cadence know that he approved. He was only four but he sure as hell understood a lot more than people thought. Ashlee wasn't the quietest either when it came to bad mouthing Cadence. She had even gone as far as telling Bronx that Cadence was the reason that he didn't live with Daddy all the time anymore.

"Daddy, no matter what mommy says, I love Momma Cadence." He smiled at both of them. No one had said anything to him about calling Cadence anything. It was a touchy subject and quite frankly no one had said anything to Bronx about how this family was going to work other than the fact that Pete had sat him down and told him that he was going to be a big brother. He also had asked him if he would mind if Daddy adopted Ariana and was her Daddy too. Bronx has no problems with it. He was such a good kid and he was smart as a whip.

Cadence couldn't help but smile as she looked down at him. She couldn't believe he had just called her Momma. She wanted to just pick him up and kiss him all over.

"And I love baby Bronx." Cadence whispered as she leaned over and kissed him as she ran a hand through his gorgeous blonde locks. "You are part of here." She told him as she pointed to her heart

Pete couldn't have had a bigger smile on his face as he watched the two of them. Right now life was perfect and it couldn't be any more perfect if they tried. He had his friends, his parents and the love of his life who had given him the most amazing children. Yeah, things were going to be ok from here on out.
