Remus

I waited at the bottom of the stairs for Taylor. I was dressed in ordinary formal attire as expected.

And then down the stairs she came. My mouth pratically dropped. Taylor looked- mystical. Magical. I was enchanted by her. Her hair fell in soft curls to the small of her back, the ombre now washed out. Her dress was a stunning sapphire colour, like her eyes. Nothing could make me smile like she did, descending elegantly down the stairs.


"Taylor, you look enchanting." I said.
She thanked me and took my outstretched hand, smiling widely.

I will never forget the way she made me feel that night.

Never.

The great hall had been decorated like a 16th century castle. And on the balcony, was Taylor Swift, smiling down at us.

"Hey you guys!" She called out. "I'm Taylor Swift and I hope you have an amazing time tonight! This first song is called 'Fearless'. I hope you like it."

We made our way across the hall to find Riley and saw her laughing with...Padfoot?

'You take my hand and drag me head first, Fearless' Rang across the hall.

I shrugged.

'And I don't know why, but
With you I'd dance in a storm in my best fearless'

We greeted the pair and Sirius went to get us all drinks.

Riley complimented Taylor on how wonderful she looked until Padfoot came back. Typical. The good girl falls for the rebel and the rebel girl falls for the good guy.

I asked Riley to dance for the next song.

We started to dance slowly.

See the party the ball gowns

"Enjoying tonight?" I asked her.
She shouted over the music "Yeah, you?"
I could only nod and stare into those beautiful eyes of hers.

'Then you were Romeo
You were throwing pebbles
And my daddy said stay away from Juliet'

James walked over. "Don't hurt her," he whispered. "I feel like I've known her for years."

'And I was crying on the staircase
Begging you please don't go
And I said.."

Our dancing sped up a lot.

'Romeo take me somewhere we can be alone
I'll be waiting all there's left to do is run

"Yes," I thought. "Yes as many times as I need to say it,"
Maybe I was thinking out loud.
She laughed.

'So I sneak out to the garden to see you'

I dragged her into the Hogwarts garden. I raised my finger to my lips in case anyone heard us.

'We keep quiet cause we're dead if they knew
So close your eyes'

I couldnt help myself. I closed my eyes and leant in, as did she.

'Escape this town for a little whi-ile
Cause you were Romeo I was a scarlet letter
Amd my daddy said stay away from Juliet'

Our lips met and slowly started to move in sync.
I could see James walk in.
"Remus, a word please?"

'But you were everything to me
I was begging you please don't go'

Taylor

I saw Remus nod and give me an apologetic smile. From where I sat on the staircase, I could hear them yelling.

'And I said Romeo take me somewhere we can be alone'

He came back after a few minutes.
"Where were we?" He asked and kissed me gently.

'I'll be waiting
All that's left to do is run
You be the prince
And I'll be the princess
It's a love story baby just say 'Yes''

"Yes," We both muttered into the kiss.

'Romeo save me
They're trying to tell me how to feel'

I broke that kiss.
"Let me guess, James doesn't want us together?" I asked.

"No, but I do."

'This love is difficult
But it's real'

"Are we going to have to keep this a secret?"
"I guess so," said Remus.

'Dont be afraid we'll
make it out of this mess'

"Let's forget about that now." I said and once again we started dancing.

'It's a Love Story
Baby just say yes.'

We smiled. Smiled and sat on the bench, my head on his chest.

'I got tired of waiting
Wondering if you were ever coming around

Fading
Until I met you on the outskirts of town'

I stared into those amazing eyes of his...I've never seen a shade of blue like the. So light, so pure, so innocent...so alive.

'And I said
Romeo save me I've been feeling so alone

He knelt to the ground and pulled out a ring and said'

"Be my girlfriend."

All I could do was nod.

'Marry me Juliet
You'll never have to be alone
I love you and that's all I really know
I talked to your dad
Go pick out a white dress
It's a love story baby just say 'Yes''

"Let me go talk to James," he said. I nodded and wished him luck. About fifteen minutes later he was back.

"James said..."




A/N: I know Taylor (Swift) wasn't born in the Marauder era, and wouldn't have written any songs, but this is fanfiction, so who cares?
